I'm 100 points off L1 for next year but the teams ahead of me are either too similar or better, certainly better depth. Still, L2 should be an improvement from L4.

A top 50 rank currently has you missing L1. Top 200 has you missing L2
Outstanding performance from the forum this year

multiple.scoregasms wrote:This time of year goes against all my usual advice. While you are chasing ranks late you want playable floor huge ceiling. This is the time I would consider guys like Lil Pap, DFifita, Cleary, Watson, Mitchell.
I'm also a big fan of edge second rowers that are a chance of tries. Ma'u, KBrom, Sironen, Lane, Jackson are all worth considering if you have a few trades and need a POD
Speaking of second rowers I reckon Fitzgibbon would be a good shout, although it depends if you expect a big effort from the Knights this week. All the talk is that senior players laid down the law to the squad on Wednesday morning and they want a big game on old boys day this weekend.
Probably better options, but he can jag a double.

With Fifita coming back to a bit of form, I reckon there will be lots of people who were forced to hold him who would be cheering now. Some people who held trades might have brought in nbrown. They’d be dirty.
Shame really, tolo and Fifita out for longer would have seen huge shifts in scores.
I’ll be bringing Fifita back in for brown.
Can only cover one more injury this season, as long as it’s not a ctr.

Certainly worth a shout! He looks like the preferred second rower to get that short ball with a chance of crossing over

Speaking of Fifita, and trades, and the fact that we're all pretty much out of them for the year, its time to post how many players you still have in your squad, that you started the season with.
I've got 3. Fifita, Murray, Nikora.

Cook, Fifita, Nikora, Tedesco, although Cook went out and in over Origin.
My other, higher ranking team has loads... Cook, Murray, Tedesco, Nikora, Mitchell, SJ, Taumalolo, though there I've sold and bought back the last two.

Those that started with players that dropped cash then bounced back (Taupau, Tedesco, JTurbo etc) does this scare you off grabbing players like Haas next year at a peak?

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 82
My favourite reflection is who was the player everyone wanted in their team, who turned out to be a dud.
Last year was that centre from dragons that is still shit. Can’t even remember his name.
This year has to be Morgan, cht, or Stimson?
Haas was one that everyone had until he was dropped. He has killed it though.

That has to be Holland no question about it

You can't afford all the guns, but my strategy was to get a set-and-forget in each position (Cook, Fifita, Lolo, SJ, Latrell, Tedesco} and even though I had to sell and buy back two of them through injury and also finally flicked Fifita a couole of weeks ago it did allow me to pick up a lot of boom players and be creative on trades (hi Ash Taylor, but also hi Mitch Moses in week 3) not being under pressure to get those guys in.
Maybe going full guns-and-cows hurt my scoring a bit in the first few rounds - mitigated by being able to captain Cook - but certainly assembled a final-17 type team very early and have had nine 1k+ rounds in the last ten, with the other being a bye.

Morgan was ok, no disaster. 450k and solid 40s, made some money and playable until the bye. Not sure even with hindsight there was a better week one halfback at his price (Wighton and Moses were more expensive).
CHT and Stimson I don't think started Rnd 1, so were late changes to most teams?
Napa was a bad pick. And if anyone went with Holland or Edwards (I didn't, phew) not correcting that early could fuck a season fast.
