Billy Walters......and Harry Grant still in the reserves as Tom Eisenhuth and Curtis Scott drop out.

Things bouncing around the Storm community that Scott is on his way to Dragons next year.

EDIT: Captains Run photos featuring Grant practising in the dummy half role a bit.

Well, since i traded him in for Nikora, Latrell has rewarded me with a dnp (got Nadens 12 tho), a 47 and last nights 15.

Nikora in that time a 66, and a 32, meaning anything better than a -24 this rd and Nikora was the superior choice.

Way to go me. If i miss this one time shot at top 50 because of i will be spewing. (Came in at 51).

New rule for me, no Aubbs, no Latrell.

I think the only way JWH will get time off is due to carry over points. Knight was falling, around his waist, and backing into the defensive line. Looked really bad but not much he could've done. I don't like the bloke but I doubt he was attacking his head. The video shows him leading with his shoulder, it was merely the fact Knight was already halfway to the ground. I also think majority of the damage was done in the collision between JWH hip and Collins head.

Tetavano hit on Doueihi was a rib rattler for sure, not sure about a binning, was just a poor defensive read. We see it every week just 9/10 the defensive player has enough instinct and time to pull out of the tackle, just this time Tetty put all his eggs in the Doueihi basket.

Cordner elbow - Surgess also has more carry over points than any other player in the game. I will be surprised if it even gets cited by the MRC as we have seen a tonne of these let go this year. I also wouldn't be surprised to see him receive a fine/1 week ban as this has also been in the media lately.

I see your point of view though, definitely a case for all those players to be ruled on; however, there are some other factors in play.

Tend to agree, the MRC gets the ruling correct most of the time. It's down to the media and garbage journalists that report a suspension based off the weeks (e.g TPJ suspended for 5 weeks) without highlighting his immense loading and carryovers when it occurs

FWIW JWH is probably screwed with having dangerous contact to head/neck on Ponga + carryover points I believe. If charge is also dangerous contact to head/neck it's 50% loading and then he probably has non-similar offences (20% loading for each one)

Raiders coach Ricky Stuart announced on Friday morning that forward Joe Tapine will miss another match due to a rib injury.

Tapine was named on the reserves list on Tuesday and Stuart said he was getting closer to a return.

In Titans news, Tanah Boyd will start at halfback against the Dragons on Saturday with Ryley Jacks moving to the bench.

Retiring hooker Robbie Farah, named on the reserves bench in jersey 21, is remarkably on track to return from the broken leg he suffered at ANZ Stadium just 26 days ago.

What a great game last night players getting knocked out, blood everywhere, players getting absolutely smashed & a very competitive close game. All it needed was an all in brawl with punches flying to make it a perfect game of league. I used to really enjoy playing in games like that when I played myself.

Must've ended up with a lot of black eyes.

Lets face it league is the most combative game. It's like a war & the goal is to hurt & bloody up the opposition so he goes off. I don't mean illegally but playing hard & fair. My father always told me make your first tackle your best tackle & absolutely smash the ball runner because they will not want to run at you again. By the way my father was an outstanding sportsman...he played rugby for Ponsonby & Auckland at 1st 58th. In his mid twenties he played league for the Point Chevaliar Pirates who at that time was litered with Kiwi reps especially the forwards & he played inside ctr & actually just missed out on the Kiwi tour of Brittain. He was also one of the top junior road cyclists & won many titles. Then as he told me he married my mother & that was the end of his sporting career.

I agree, it was a great game.
Manu causing all kinds of trouble in the first half. Smart move by Bennett switching Murray to left CTR (I wish Murray could cover for Bateman in my fantasy team) to shut down the Roosters on that side. Rooster should have won the game, but the Bunnies did well hanging in there and nabbing the win.

I remember playing under 15's open for Glenora & Mount Albert & us were the 2 top teams. We had a lot of Samoans in our team & Mount Albert had a lot of Tongans in their team. If you're are not aware their is a lot of racial tension between Samoans & Tongans which goes back centuries because 1 of them invaded the other country & enslaved the other so they phuckin hate eachother. Anyway even before the game started the Samoans & Tongans would be brawling in the carpark so you can imagine how it was when the game actually started with people getting smashed all over the place. I distinctly remember 1 game where the girl friend of our player was holding her baby giving it to this Tongan & he picked up the flag & was going to hit with it so this sparked an all in brawl & the game got called off. The fighting continued with spectators & just about everyone was involved & I think in the end the police got called. Now that my friend is what you call the perfect game of league. Good times indeed.
