When fanhub took over in 2014, their platform was a mess. It was so fucked in round 1 (basic functionality like trades wouldn't work. Even worse than whatever shit happened this year and last year) that they were forced to start a secondary 'plate' competition with equal prizes to the main comp. This is why they have the nickname failhub.
In the first couple of weeks, when shit wasn't working, lots of people could not even make trades. It emerged that one round 'panda' had emailed fanhub after the start of the round, to tell them the trades that he 'honest to goodness cross my heart' would have made that week. And fanhub allegedly made those trades on his behalf (I guess in part because of his 'fame' as a recent winner) All the users who weren't panda got a bit pissed that this was allowed to occur. One reason why the plate comp was started.
We also had a user at the time called Kung Fu Panda (aka Bren AKA Moose) who got *really* pissed off by any suggestion that he was the same 'panda' as in the story above. Some other users knew this, and would deliberately wind him up with accusations he was a cheater.
In short. We love fanhub, KFP is a cheat
