You can retire any time you like, if youre happy to not get paid.

Medical retirement means your contract is covered by insurance, and the NRL then decides if all (or what portion) of it does not come under the cap.

It's been a crappy year for Surgess, family breakdown and the end of his career in the NRL. Rip

Well Arrow is nowhere near confirmation yet, and they still have to determine if Surgess gets medically retired and contract is exempt from cap but if Arrow did sign that would be what their pack would be

At this point I'm not taking any news as true until the club makes an article on their website with the amount of clickbait articles fox sports are posting

I posted the Arrow rumour.. at this stage, very much that, a rumour. Id take it with a grain of salt, but the bloke that said it has a good track record.

Lachlan Timm was a guy that Dragons fans wanted to debut last season. Interestingly, he is now on a "train and trial" at the Broncos until Xmas. He led a bunch of stats in NSW cup last year (not that stats mean everything...)

This could work really well fantasy wise.

Yeah he was second in runs, run metres and post-contact metres (leader was a Parra winger) and led tackles. I don’t think stats are everything either but given the Dragons struggles it was surprising he didn’t get a run later in the season like Ford and Kerr. Ford was also a stats machine at that level and if Frizzell departs as rumoured and isn’t replaced he’d be a possible fantasy option.

Ref isn’t even trying to pretend he hasn’t bet on Fiji. Embarrassing Laugh 3 couldn’t resisted the $5.25 price

If that happens it is a fantastic signing

If you pay market value you get an origin tier forward and a pack leader for less than the price of an origin tier player due to a few injuries

Could be interesting fantasy wise. May be an 80 minute player again at WT, as they will need to carry a bench utility, and probably a back rower as well?

I did say never again in 2018.

I can’t quit on Nathan Brown

If effectively the Eels and Tigers swap Matterson and Brown, but you’d assume Matterson is on a bigger contract, I think the Tigers win.

NRL confirms (contract approved) Ramien back to the Sharks on a four year deal. Four years.. crazy. Why do NRL clubs keep doing this to themselves
