Nice mix there. We only have four horses the same this week (vs my early draft)
I am quite happy with this mix. I think there's about 2 horses for each G1 race then Zatouri in my only G2 race as I think he is a CLEAR favourite. He would be my tip of the day.
I also went through all Flem races and Hughie is on a lot of top 3 favourites and when he isn't he is on a pretty good Roughie

Click on 'My Stable' then 'Info' (in the top right), use the drop down (under Fixture) to change it to round 7. You'll see it is just the races on Tuesday that are covered in the round (1 group 1, Melb Cup)

Re: Horse racing fantasy in Supercoach
Though Of That in the Derby.
If you like me have the horse in your stable you'll need to check scratchings on Saturday morning.
Last sentence in an article in SMH this morning, "... Thought Of That is no guarantee to run in the Derby with connections to weigh up whether the Mackinnon Stakes on the last day of the carnival is a more suitable race for the stallion prospect."
I've found suitable replacement so the karma of dropping jock Linda means I'm dropping Thought of That know.

I really like Finche and Mer De Glace as one of the favourites but I think Mustajeer and Magic Wand are great rough picks.

Nice stable. I think Melody Belle won't be able to hand this race.

That worked well. The only Group 1 winner I didn't have was Fierce Impact and I didn't get that one up because I decided it was the hardest of the day and didn't choose anyone in that race in fantasy.
In real life the only bet I had today was on Fierce Impact.

Open.
Hard to know what to do on Tuesday. ATM I have 6 selected in the cup and 4 savers elsewhere.
And I'll try not to rant but my 6 selected in the cup could do fuck all for me (and you). How has it come to it that the race that stops a nation has 7 horses having their first start in Australia, another 6 horses having only their secound start in Australia and another 2 that have only had a couple of starts. 15 out of 24 horses that the once a year punter that the Cup used to attract is going

Ha WD on the win, was thinking the last couple of days how good Fierce Impacts for lines are, exceptional. And it put them away so well today.
Yeah agree, times are a changing, same in racing, what the euro's and UK do with there stayers means our race is a target.
It's traditionally a card packed with big fields, cup day. So it will be hard to pick off individual winners in those races. Haven't looked at fields, don't know how I will target the race and day.

Re: Horse racing fantasy in Supercoach
Il Paradiso might be a good POD for you MS.
I have 5 horses in common with you with 6 in the cup also and a different capt. I've spent more than you on my cup runners so I've had to search for some points with cheap horses, 2 of which aren't in the Group 3 races. One of them will win and the other stands a chance at $75000.
Up to 423rd overall.
Let's go captain oh captain
