Interesting the game has made the Everest a group 1 and Kosciusko a group 3 even though neither are officially stakes races.
Wonder now if they did the same last week. I didn’t even bother looking at The Inevitable’s price as the silver eagle was another promotional not stakes race

"NB within the game we have assigned ‘Group’ status to The Everest (G1), Golden Eagle (G1), Silver Eagle (G2), Redzel Stakes (G2), Rosehill Gold Cup (G2) and The Kosciuszko (G3) races which fall within the calendar due to the strength of the fields in those races."
If you're lucky Trevor want know this.

Loving this week already. Only 2 G1 and 2 G2 races means more chances at nabbing a nice roughie to get over the line. Probably Looking at about 2-3 horses in each of these races and chuck in any certainties in the G3's.

I reckon it makes who you captain this week more important to previous weeks as there doesn't seem to be a standout.
Would you captain an odds on fave in a group 3 race for guaranteed points??

Probably not. I would rather captain a horse in a G1 race I am confident will place, probably score more than a G3 winner.

That was grueling form to get through, but my thoughts on the big one;

I can’t believe I’m calling a different race on Caulfield Cup day the big one!

Hard call chucking the C on any G1 race this week. We have the Caulfield Cup and the Everest. Both races terribly hard to pick a captain in.
