If there is a lot of talk around Connor Watson playing lock , like Ponga, will he be a 2rf and the would his second position be HOK WFB or HLF

Watson said himself he's been training at lock/hooker.

Who knows what fanhub would do.. when the system opens late January they would need to have made a call already. If he already has DPP at that point, then it doesn't matter where he is named in round 1

As mtb said, Watson's position will be set in the system when the site opens, so depends what they have set when it opens.

He'll be DPP something. Knights site lists him as a five-eighth so I guess he'll be HLF/HOK or HLF/2RF most likely. Unless something concrete comes out about a move to lock in the next 2 weeks I assume he'll be HLF/HOK

Did anything more come from Cookie Monster's price analysis using the ownership percentage discount?
Would be very interesting to see the most discounted players and the most "overpriced" players

Did some basic calculations myself based on 15000 MN and got the following sorted by discount on priced average. Note this does not take into account the standard discount for less than 10 games played(3% per game)

EDIT: This is based on Cookie Monster's player ownership influencing prices model

    Tigers A

    Not the worst start.

Lino couldnt have picked a worse time to leave the warriors, he didnt realise it at the time, but would have been starting half all of last season if he had stayed.

I do have 1 thought on the Mitchell signing. It makes C. Walker a great pick & re Cook another attacking player in Mitchell will take attacking opportunities away from the middle.

Not a fan of picking Walker. Have had him often, but last year scored tonnes of tries, not seeing the upside potential. I guess Mitchell went there to be fullback, if he gets his fitness and attitude right, could be a decent option.

Definitely went there to be FB. Rabbitohs already have 2 top class Centres (Yes I think if healthy Burns is top class). AJ was pretty much on the out last year as well.

If you are planning on max-trading in the first few rounds then you might end up wasting trades and just doing it for the sake of trading and sticking to the plan. If you plan on conserving trades early on then it’s possible you miss a rising cash-cow. Injuries and suspensions often throw away every plan you come up with so I think it’s best to have a goal of which players you want for the bye round very early on and generate as much cash as possible while trying to save as many trades as you can. But I do think that unless you have an injury or the next Payne Haas comes along, don’t trade after the first round and possibly the second (you need to give your players a chance). The most important part of any strategy is to NEVER SELL GUNS - if they need to be sold then they obviously aren’t guns and shouldn’t have been purchased in the first place

Benches are too short now to give players a chance early on. There will always be a cash cow or mid who is a clear dud in the first three weeks or so and there is always going to be someone you missed. Be fuckin' ruthless man

You're right about always having a dud in the first few weeks but hopefully you don't have many of them so not too many trades need to be used. I think trades are better used during bye rounds and saving some for the run home

    Between A & B

Maybe closer to B due to being moved position because of injuries to other players

Hmmm, we'll have to wait and see where we can fit him in DPP wise

I reckon Watson will again be a good fantasy prospect this season, base stats will probably get him his 2019 season average at lock, with the odd attacking stat I think he should be able to average around 50-55 points

Definitely have to consider Latrell for my WFB if he does play fullback.

So stoked about that news, now to get Arrow down here early which will happen a couple of Souths guys with inside sources have told me and they’re rarely wrong.

Surely if you are considering Latrell it would be for centre
Centre gun = 40 points (last year was an exception)
    WFB gun = 50 points

Latrell will be losing the goal kicking duties to Reynolds so that brings his average back down to 37 from last year. He will score more points at fullback but he hasn't played there for a while so it's not guaranteed he will average 50 points.

I think the money you would have to pay for Latrell could be better spent elsewhere e.g. Watson, James, Tevaga, Garner, Fifita etc. all in a similar price range

He will get dual, buy him as a fullback that you can play in your centres
