I think Mbye will come off after 60mins, I’m not keen on him.

I think Mbye is going to be needed to stay on the field for as long as possible in that Tigers side

I would be surprised if he has the same role this time. If you aren’t really a hooker and are expected to play 80 minutes, his coach would have likely told him his primary role is being there to pick up the ball from dummy half and pass to the half almost every play for 80 mins, not to be a tackle bot or to run the ball. This season he is the captain and I would expect a different role from him, especially if less minutes. Could be another Watson this season, so I would pick him at center
    Well said
I might be wrong but I think when he played hooker 2017 at the Dogs he only averaged 1 or 2 runs per game. I don’t see this happening again in 2020 - Mbye is too good to be wasted just passing and tackling.

I quite like Levi's style of play. He has the ability to take a few scoots that a lot of the forwards at the Knights probably didn't allow him to do. With players like Taupau, Jurbo, AFB laying the platform he should see an uptick in faster play the balls and more open space. He has always been a bit of a sucker for MT but maybe Des's defence first mindset might help that. I think if he is priced around the mid 400's, which would be around 30 points, he could potentially be 10 points underpriced if he is getting extended minutes.

Furthermore, I see the higher possibility that Levi see's a big minute role at HOK, Cust moves to 6 and Walker moves to CTR where he is preferred. Levi has played hooker at the international level, Cust is an up and coming destructive five-eighth and Walker has pedigree at CTR, he played NSW U20's at CTR and is his most damaging position.

TL;DR - I see value in Levi if he is guaranteed 60+ minutes. Manly suits him.

I reckon it is going to be Monday 3/2. Lone Scout tweeted something along the lines of, "Fantasy will be open the week after Australia Day..." whether that means Tuesday 28/2 (Monday Public Holiday), or Monday 3/2.

Definitely 3/2 then. Probably doing me a favour. means I won’t be able to waste time for a week thinking about a team when it’s too early.

Broncos centre Kotoni Staggs will miss the All Stars game and Brisbane's trial against Redcliffe due to a foot injury sustained in Tonga's Test win over Australia last November.

South Sydney's Cody Walker is in doubt for the All Stars game due to a knee injury.

Wonder if any of this will lead into the start of the season.

Here's how I see the Sharks pack:

    Fifita 45 mins
    BBrailey 65mins
    Woods 45 mins
    Graham 80 mins
    Nikora 80 mins
    Williams 50 mins

    Magoulias 30 mins
    Uele 35 mins
    Rudolph 25 mins
    Bukuya 25 mins

Magoulias will time share at lock/hooker for 30 plus minutes and more if any injuries to backs. pretty versatile player. I just think Fifita won't be an option for fantasy this year is my gut.

The problem with Levi is that he runs too much in the red zone. Stifles the attack and makes sure the halves don't get quality ball. He always seems to pick the ball up and try to draw the markets rather than giving quick ball to the halves when something is on. Quality service from your 9 is a huge part of team construction and Levi is terrible in that aspect. There is a reason the Knights signed a below average hooker in Brailey and were happy for him to take Levi's spot. Make no mistake if Manly had any other option Levi would not be starting hooker

It's official now...Billy Smith acl injury. If this puts him out to start the season & is out for a while then it could bring Angus onto the radar as a starting 2fr if Aubs plays ctr or they could play BMoz there & in that case there is no benefit for Angus.

Bmoz on the left edge could be good value.

Gee it would be handy if they had a player like Latrell Mitchell on contract for 2020 right now.

I was thinking of putting the black widow in my starting line-up for shits and giggles. This news doesn't bode well for this strategy
