Big NAS says he wants to play more minutes this season. Still too expensive to consider.

Hess has so much fantasy potential. I would love to see him getting a run in the FRF as an impact player.my tv broke wrote:Saw a pic of Hess the other day and he was looking much fitter than last year. Green said they were still considering him for edge or bench middle.
Maybe his stats were down from previous seasons due to Thurston's retirement? Maybe Thurston knew how to help Hess find the line.
I won't be starting with him, but if he can get back to form he would be a good pick up

Re: NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 2
does anyone remember what we considered to be the value of a trade?
I think we had a discussion about it last season

I think we discussed something about how much money does a player have to make for it to be worth a trade

I think the general consensus was that it's complicated but generally you want your money makers making at least 150k.

True but you wouldn't think Fifita would have less work to do? He'd be very likely to be playing 40+ minutes and his avg in games over 40min last year was 60! Seems a steal as long as he's fit. Woods would need minutes in the high 50's to get his avg back up to 50 where it was a few years ago and I don't see that happening.

Hmmm, that's a minimum increase of 10 fantasy points.
So ideally you want your cows to increase 10 points or more, and all other players in your team are either keepers or players you expect to become keepers

When I first started in 2008 the vox pop was 50k. That became 100k maybe 2012ish. Not sure what the result was last year from discussions, but aside from the fiscal progression to maybe 150k, with a smaller bench now trades are probably even more valuable. Although offsetting that somewhat may be the easier Bye Round decisions now.
In saying that, if a Cow makes me 150k I think it’s well and truly worth the trade. The argument is a lot of Cows technically cost you 2 trades, but it really only is one if you are then selling said Cow for an upgrade to a Keeper.
