Wow, Friend at 612k!? priced around 43 points!!!
Bargain!

Must be discounted due to Verrils hanging around
He's been given a 15% discount for playing 5 games last year, other than that he is priced as expected
He is also super cheap because 2 of his 5 games he scored 17 and 6 due to injury.
He honestly should be the first player picked for everyone.
2 years ago, some people didn't pick Damien Cook to start with because Souths had Robbie Farah in their squad. These people chose poorly.
If you avoid Jake Friend because the Roosters have Verrills in their squad, you will also have chosen poorly

Friend at that price is way too hard to ignore. Might try start with Friend, McInnis, Haas, Moses, Matterson and then try get value everywhere else.

I've got McInnes, Haas, Moses and Friend in my current draft (as well as Pappy), I wasn't able to fit Matterson in with the 9.8mil cap

Yeah I don't think Friend can be ignored for me. Here's hoping he can have a full season. Keep in mind if he stays fit, good chance Kev probably picks him for Origin.

Suddenly when we thought starting teams would be a bit varied, they slowly start all coming together haha.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 2
My spreadsheet friendly fanatics. Is there a formula I can use so when making my draft team I can have my salary at the top (9.8mil) and when I write Haas it automatically deducts 990K from the salary, or it populates another cell with my total salary, i.e i then add Friend and total would be 1.602mil
EDIT: I have a seperate table with everyones name and their price already done up

I was going to post something similar haha.
Once we drill right down to try week out the most value, and apply a bit of group think, all becomes quite similar.
There are some cheap must haves and some gun must haves.
Still think there is a bit of variety to be had around 2rf, there are alot of mid priced players who all have upside.. as well as the multitude of hookers around 400k

I have my drafted team in excel and I just did total salary in a separate cell and used formula to sum up the previous cells
