Re: NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 2
Other than missing two players..
Standouts J. Williams? What is the go there? Thinking he will be starting lock? Small sample size but averaged just on 41 in 50 minutes. Priced at 30, feel like a potential 10 point jump unless you think he gets more than 50 minutes?
The rest looks pretty standard. I am not sold yet on Moses as much as other guys.

What is there not to be sold on Moses? Not looking for increase just to stay where he is?

Re: NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 2
I think it's easy to sell both sides of Moses.
Buy - has grown up. Taken on more responsibility for his own game. Kicks the shit out of the ball in general play and has become a decent defender. Can score 100
Don't buy - last year was an anomaly. The eels will capitulate. Brown will take on more responsibility.
Personally I think he will probably average low 50s again. You've gotta ride the ups and downs if you buy him though. If you rage trade after consecutive 30s in rounds 1 and 2, you will get burnt

Brown might take on more attacking responsibility but can't see him effecting kicking game which is where Moses kicked on from last year adding huge KM totals.
If I go with a gun starting in the halves, all I know is I'm starting with Moses

I especially like his two point discount and rd 12 playing potential. But I haven't gotten as far as halves yet in my analysis, so have nothing to compare him to just yet.

Amaze balls, how the fuck did you do that?! Don't answer that.
Well you go through historical data at the BOM, correlate it to the location of the game in question, and confirm by checking Twitter search results from the time of the game that mention weather to make sure it's all kosher

Correct, but when MTB asked me for help writing the code it was a little harder than we first anticipated.

My view on Moses...
I've got him earmarked as a keeper who plays round 12. He was the top half in regards to overall points in 2019.
I can see value in all keepers who play round 12. McInnes, Taumalolo, Matterson, Burns, maybe Holmes
It saves a trade

Can't argue much against that minus extra game for Moses with Cleary in Origin
Cleary higher floor,
games under 35 scored
Cleary 1
Moses 5
Moses higher chance of big score (Cleary had bigger 1 game score 120 vs 97)
games over 65
Cleary 6
Moses 9

You did a stellar job scanning the weather section from the last two years of daily newspapers that I picked up from the library.
That reminds me, I need to borrow the truck again to return them, the overdue fees are going through the roof

Re: NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 2
I'm thinking about starting with both?? Reckon with some value elsewhere I might start with 2 gun HLFs. If I don't fill the bench with HRKs I may even start with 3 gun HLFs.KingTeddy wrote:Who should I get as my gun half: Cleary or Moses.

Played 4 games without Maloney in the past 2 years for scores of 77, 80, 66 and 79
Those latter 2 include tries.
He's played 1 game with Jarome Luai as his halves partner. Cleary 477km, Luai 24km
If it wasn't for origin he'd be in my team for sure. As it is I think he'll be a tradeout for origin - last 2 years he has missed extra games (partly injury, partly post-origin rest)
