You guys got me all nervous. Firstly, holy fuck - 5??? How'd Lomax even manage that, lol?

Good news for me, though, is we both had him and both played him in our 17. Equally good news is we both had the C on McInnes.

Only unique so far was his Sua for 27, which is nice too. Projection is for me to scrape home, so hoping that's accurate.

Way too early to worry about match ups yet !

I'm currently being smashed in eliminator 238/3 to 61/2 (yes, I had Lomax).
My opponent had McInnes(C), Frizell and Dufty who both had big games last night.
I can counter that with Haas(C), Lolo and Tedesco.

We should have a better idea of how things are going by Saturday night !!

I need Teddy to score similar to McInnes to have a shot really. Brought in Cook who was disappointing. Add in Lomax and I am up shit creek already and it's only been one game

With Aubs apparently playing ctr should I play Talau over him. Cheers.

yeah, the Aubs news has thrown a spanner in the works for me too. Toss of a coin really - I'm going to go Talau in the hope he breaks some tackles when returning kicks, or better still scores a try or two...

First year in this thing... just to confirm my understanding of it. I put Matterson in my Reserves and obviously had him selected. Just noticed he's out. Can I just confirm, I get the lowest scorer in my team if I leave the R on him? So Joliffe's 25 is what I'd cop?

Only other option is to put the last R on Averillo and roll the dice. Surely it's a no brainer and I just need to hope Averillo fires?

Yep that's right. Your lowest score becomes your AE. So, if Averillo was to score lower than 25 you'd get that score anyway.

Haha, yeah, good point. Okay, so an Averillo dice roll is what I'm relying on.

Funnily enough, I have McIntyre and Talau locked away at the bottom of my EMG in Fantasy with Averillo locked into my starting centres position, so a lot of pressure on this kid this weekend. Mad Eels fan, but hoping he tears us to shreds, lol. Nothing crazy like actually winning the match... but I hope he has a big match, personally.

I think I'm looking okay, but it's a bit of an unknown. He's 124 ahead with only Matterson left to play. Field & D.Saifiti left in reserves, so I'd have to assume he'll bring in the biggest calibre gun... oh, let me stop there. You can't do late trades in this thing, can you? So what I see is what he's got? His Matterson will become HTF's 5, as that's his lowest scoring non-playing so far?

If that's the case, I need to chase down 129 with Averillo, Cameron Smith, Mann & Papy.

On paper I should be okay, but why am I still nervous?

I'm 25 down but he has no differencials left and I still have N. Brown, Ponga & Mann.

Cleary has made it closer than I deserve it to be. Best + 95 vs Klem Moses and Papy. Definitely still in their favour but being in with a chance after Lomax's 5 is more than I expected. I could take Walters' 32 as an AE (or Best if he gets less) but figure I might as well play Best anyway and roll with it. Fingers crossed!

Eliminator opponent looks like scoring 1100 this week and I'm up 40 with Mann vs no one. That's a tough loss
