Little bit behind on the who's who "must have" players for the year gents... Someone care to sum it up outside of the group speak (BB gun, Grant if the trade goes through etc etc).

I'll have a base price CTR or WFB in NPR but not both. It's such a lottery trying to pick which ones score well that I'm not willing to drop someone like Grant or Luai to fit in "cover"
I'll have no cover at all based on my current thinking. I might get lucky on TLT to find cheap cover for my bench. Not that bothered (yet!)

I've fucked around so much that I have to leave it alone (or I'll go blind)
I like all my picks apart from 1 FRF and 2 CTR with ~1m to spend...
All in the bin anyway when trials, injuries, TLT come around.

Hooker the usual guns, Friend, Koro, Brailey, Grant (must have) are value in a lot of teams. Levi and Egan also mentioned as potential value.
FRF haas of course. Lot of talk about midrangers here, Mofo, Knight, Merrin, Uele, Carrigan
2fr mostly talk of midrange value also, Luciano, Hess, Williams, Fifita, Lowe, Sua, Garner, Stimson, fallen guns Brown and Crichton. Guns Lolo, Bateman, Matterson
halves: Most of the talk for guns Cleary and Moses, plenty of mid range talk: Croft, brimson, Flanagan, Mann, Luai (must have cheapie)
Centres: depends who you ask. potential guns Aubbs, Capewell, Burns, Lomax (in most teams in one spot or another), cheapies Best and a host of wanabes
WFB: Paps seems like a must have (not withstanding the usual group think) no one seems to be picking guns here. Midrangers Brimson, Lomax, Douehi, Edwards, Isaako.

Trying to play devil's advocate. Can someone give me a compelling downside to Pappenhuixzen (besides an injury to himself which is everyone's potential downside)?

I think Talau is injured or coming off an injury so he reckons he won't be fit in time for round 1.

Also Croft without Smith 46, 58, 41, 58 average of 50.
Started with him last 2 seasons. Why are you doing this to me?!?

Hmmm good numbers, back on my radar. But isn’t playing with Milford going to be like playing with Munster? A little at least. His price is just awkward too.

Have a peak at Hunts base stats in 2015 and 2016
Obvs a big part of picking Croft is whether or not you think he is a good footballer.

His high scoring rate is unsustainable, he will almost certainly drop in average.
Other than being quite quick, he isn't as good as his scores suggest, so once teams figure that out, his scoring opportunities will dry up.

Edwards and Brimson [Thumbs up] 997 k
Holmes and Lomax [Thumbs down] 989 k
All players, which seem to draw diverse opinions.
You're just trying to up your reps there.

Its the right question to ask, not sure on the answer. I wonder if there is an effective cap on what any pair of halves can score across a season. If Milf is going to average 50+, what does that leave Croft with as his upper limitation?

He's got to establish himself as part of a new spine and please don't post anything more about him Matt.

This was going to be my point too. We dont know how he will score playing with Milford. If he bangs out a couple of 30s he will be on the chopping block quick smart at his price. Has any half scored well playing with Milford?

Hunt has insane stats 2014-2015, was Milf there then I can't remember (serious question)?
