He is priced a 32. He's played 80 minutes at fullback 12 times. In only 2 of those 10 did he scores less than his priced average.

Sure he might just end up another Dylan Edwards, but the signs suggest he'll be a good buy now that he should be a permanent starter

I'm concerned about the games he doesn't score tries. The Titans averaged just under 15 points a game last year and haven't gotten any better imo. In games where he doesn't score tries Brimson averages 32 at fullback including some absolutely terrible games (24 in 80 minutes, 16 in 54 minutes, 3 in 42 minutes, 20 in 84 minutes)

Loss of James hurts, but you would still expect some kind of turnaround under a new coach. Even if they tail off mid season, i think the Titans will at least be competitive in the first 10 rounds or so.

Here's the filthiest middie team I can come up with:

    Friend
    MoFo* Mikaele*
    Matterson Leilua* Stimson
    Cleary Croft
    Burns Capewell*
    Papy Isaako* Edwards*

    Koro Brailey Levi Grant

    Magoulis 246k 246k 246k

    74k ITB

    * = First out of the team

Probably nowhere near what my starting team would be but plenty of value here. FRF is shit though

Capewell starting second row and yeo at lock outs him in my side for the slow burning but reliable stream of points and cash

I’m warming to TKO. Don’t see him goalkicking though but if he can keep his form from last year before his injury he’s a decent pick. A few tries but seems to have a nose for it

Tactically wanting to win the comp and also having H2H focus I want to start without haas but it’s so hard to see value there currently. TLT will hopefully help us out a touch

    Who are Rudolph and TKO?

Rudolf is rudolf from the sharks. Young and I’ve seen him in teams and was wondering if some people knew something I didn’t

TKO is Taukaieho from the roosters

People are just filling their bench with cheap player with a chance at a first grade spot. Rudolph, Magoulias, Musgrove etc

None of it matters till TLT

I see him as a less dominant Ben Barba type at fullback peaking around 36-37 average in the worst team in the comp. I don't see that as an auto pick that most are

His average from 29 games of 60min+, any position is 40.2 (11 tries). That average includes a 5 at halfback. Priced at 32, seems a low risk. His dpp also gives me confidence to run Mann or Luai at half beside Moses. Hopefully he runs closer to his 80min FB average of 45, but I don't think 40 is unreasonable.

Rudolph is a sharks prop primed to potentially get a Bench role with the Sharks. He has big props on him.⁰

This article says that 2 rookies are in consideration for the Center spot at Raiders, Niko and Smith-Shields
    https://www.nrl.com/news/2020/02/07/your-clubs-rookie-to-watch-in-2020/?utm_source=NRLFBContent&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=NetworkContent&fbclid=IwAR2pkZKjLcLjvLfoiTZgnMkAcnFvepLV_ft_ofGDm7Fn2hxajEBvWNlVYHc

Also talks up the chances of Leleisiauo, Magoulias, Rudolf, Best, Curran and Amone.

What do forward minutes at Souths look like this season? Thinking Amone ($246k) could be a decent pick up if getting 35 minutes a game, after the departure of 3 forwards at the end of last season. Should average around 30 in those minutes based on his PPM.

Anyone with their toe in the Superleague waters have any opinion on Watkins? Is he just a washed up 28 year old has-been centre or an international gun still finding his feet after his short stint back from an ACL was typically dour of such injuries?

Looking at his stats he really didn’t go that badly for a centre who had very few attacking stats but who is meant to be (/was many moons ago) prodigious in attack. He sure ticks the boxes for defensive work and if he could just clean up his missed tackles he could comfortably score 30+ even before attacking stats.

Not that the a Titans will be an incredibly improved team, but you would think they will be more competitive to start the season than they finished 2019- the games he played in were all absolute drubbings: 12-34 Broncos, 58-6 Roosters, 40-28 Dragons, 12-36 Eels, 24-8 Storm, 38-4 Knights, he would have been spending most of the game standing under the goal posts!

Picking backs in the Titans is a huge risk, but priced at 22 points he will be one of the cheapest options who will actually play R1 after all the Talau-esque picks drop out on TLT. Might offer a POD alternative to the Bradman Best groupthink which will dominate many fantasy groups.

    Any thoughts?

Considering him, depends if Peachey gets that Center spot or not and what other cheapies are available. If named, I prefer him to Best, is slightly cheaper, with 1% ownership vs Best at 29%, so would be a good POD.

Firmly on the radar for me if Best/Moga don't get named or if I get cold feet on starting 2 Knights centres

TKO is on my never again list. He was in my team at various points over the last couple of seasons. Just dont want to own him again. He is outside of the circle of trust. Joining Moylan, No Worries and Hitler
