I wouldn’t worry about it. There aren’t many viable DPP players in the game this year.

It’s more that if you have say a WFB and a WFB/CT in your 17 with one to start and one to bench, put the DPP on your bench, so you have you more cover for late outs. That’s  simple example.

Not really fantasy related. If it's okay to ask, how old is everyone here? Always curious about the demography of internet strangers I interact with.

Just put Aubs in my team and have to admit it feels pretty good.

Lock up your Vaccines, the party’s back!!!!

If he’s starting R1, it’s probably party time for me. I reckon it might be Stone though, he’s worth a look too if true.

Typically yes, it gives you flexibility in case of a late withdrawal. I am looking to play Brimson in 14-17 to cover both HLF and WFB

Time for some research, see if he could be this seasons Bateman

Hastings was actually a decent player, just didnt get a decent shot at Manly

Smith, Friend, Williams, Ponga + probably the two highest scoring CTRs at the end of the year. That's a good list right? Papenhuyzen for good measure too, but of course everyone will have him

Have to admit the lack of a ‘training the house down’ article so far this year doesn’t bode well. If I remember correctly there was a whole series prior to last season, usually co- starring Nathan Peats in the ‘really fit team mate vouches for him role’
But it would be fun if Carty started

236 in Wookiee years...probably about equal to 42 in human years.
We measure time different on Kashyyyk, different distance to our closest star, and different trajectory.... slightly complicated scratch

Williams is a very similar player to Sam Tomkins. Make of that what you will.

If George Williams is decent, he doesn’t have value. He needs to be a gun. Hastings was not a gun, Austin was not a gun, why would this guy be different?

I just took Aubbs out of my team for Bird, but he could easily go back in there. Bird an almost 5-point FanHub anti-tax. I was still sore on him for two years ago.

Ah Hastings!. The other day I was trying to remember the two cheapie halves the Roosters started in 2016. I could remember the other Nikorima but forgot about Hastings. Made decent coin from memory. I think that was Ash Taylor's year to start at base price too.

I think I've got my final draft pending TLT. The only change I'm considering is ditching Mann for a base price WFB in Saab/Leleisiuao type to free up cash as this team only has 3k ITB, and there's every likely that they'll score more or less around the same.

Other than downgrade the guns, is there alternative ways to free up cash that I'm missing?

Aubs played the last 10 games of the season starting 2rf and averaging 47. His team won the competition, so on the admittedly loose assumption that Robinson lets those players (minus Cronk & Mitchell) go round again and Crichton stays on the bench then the widow is looking like value.

In the meantime, I see others counting Moses as a gun. Really depends on the position right and how much more than the next player they score relative to their price. By that rationale you would have to call Bird and probably Burns a gun? Def. Ponga. Potentially Williams and 100% Smith and Friend.

Aubbs could be safer than Burns and replace him too. I also think Capewell has a good chance of averaging high compared to his price as well. Lots of potential at CTR when you think about it?
