I will take my time with this one lads (in an hour or 2) as quicksand is at work. He gave me 2 picks to keep it moving but 1 of them was Wade Graham so we will have a few hours pause after I pick anyway.

Re: Draft Game 2016 v1
Welcome to the most lethal WFB combination in the game. Combined they scored a whopping 63 Tries, more than any other WFB combination possible. In fact the next strongest WFB combination possible only racked up 50 Tries.
Combining with such excellent striking weapons is the ever magnificent Shaun Johnson and leading Linebreaking Half and Grand Final winner Michael Morgan. Oh and to top what would be the most refined weapon in the NRL is the ever agile Grand Final Winning, Most Try Scoring Hooker in Jake Granville.
Then with the go forward of the wrecking balls that are Andrew Fifita and George Burgess. My team can only get better from here.

How is there a pause after you if he gave you two picks? Unless you want to pick his other pick lol.

Re: Draft Game 2016 v1
That is surely the dilemma. Standard needs to decide if he wants to be a softcock and let qs get his man, or he goes all in and says fuck it I've got next pick deal with it mutherfucker

So SI will take the softcock option then.

Re: Draft Game 2016 v1
Hahaha, I should have mentioned that he gave me those 2 picks prior to his Fensom pick. So Fensom and Graham were his picks.

I must be the only person who doesnt rate wingers highly in draft games. Their job is to score tries. Any nuffie can catch a ball and fall over the line.

RTS rang and said he was feeling a bit lonely back there. If Mansour wasn't available then I probably wouldn't have gone any other winger yet but.Bren wrote:I must be the only person who doesnt rate wingers highly in draft games. You say that, but you must admit there is definite evidence that the level of a winger matters. Because there must be some difference between Maranta who scored 15 tries with a Grand Finalist Team that managed to produce 101 tries and Semi Radradra who scored 24 tries and was in a team that only just avoided Wooden Spoon Contention (Only 1 win more than last) that only managed 83 tries.

Re: Draft Game 2016 v1
Because the Broncos have more quality players therefore they dont need to rely on the one single player to score all their tries.

Yet the Knights who scored 4 less Tries than the Eels had a leading Try Scorer of 12...
:/
All in all though the game is subjective and it is for fun. If you don't value Wingers it means the rest of us get to pick the good ones.

Proving my point that they rely on 1-2 players to score their tries.Simple.

Re: Draft Game 2016 v1
Just with the voting, looking at a 1-6 system where 6 is the best (thanks Beast). So you rank all other teams starting at 6 being the best, obviously highest score wins. Honeysett being a good bloke is going to collect all the votes via PM. Was thinking about just releasing the 3 top teams votes wise, unless someone who didn't figure in the top 3 asks. Thoughts?

As this is just a good old fashioned game for fun in the pre season Im not overly fussed on the voting method.

True but it would be a better method than just a simple pick 1 team as the winner.

Oh absolutely I just thought there would be a poll for all to vote. Like I said Im more then happy to run with whatever SI suggests as after all he is running the game.Beast From The Big East wrote:True but it would be a better method than just a simple pick 1 team as the winner.

My vote thus far is QS. Building a great side. Couple of underrated blokes in his side who I rate.
