Haha, nah, I trust the cap to not destroy a poster's Draft season. If we agree to use this method I'll sterilise the fuck out of it to remove any remnants of Concord before hand.

Nominations are now closed lads.  Draft order will be announced tomorrow night.

I am going to use the Tuesday night Oz Lotto numbers to designate the draft order.  The numbers drawn in order will be allocated to the nominations order.  The nominations order is:

1 Standard
2 Random
3 Bren
4 Beast
5 Disruptive Trolling
6 Welshy
7 quicksand
8 Krumpy

Once the Lotto draw happens, the Lotto numbers will be applied in order of being drawn and the actual draft draw order will be determined from lowest to highest designated Lotto number.

It makes sense in my head...an example using last Tuesday's numbers drawn in order (19 33 18 25 37 31 43; 13 34) would be:

1 Standard 19
2 Random 33
3 Bren 18
4 Beast 25
5 Disruptive Trolling 37
6 Welshy 31
7 quicksand 43
8 Krumpy 13

The Lotto numbers from lowest to highest designated to the nominations order would thus mean the final draft game order would be:

1 Krumpy 13
2 Bren 18
3 Standard 19
4 Beast 25
5 Welshy 31
6 Random 33
7 Disruptive Trolling 37
8 quicksand 43

Not sure how to explain it any other way without missing anything.  I figure there can't be any doubt over the validity of the draw this way and is 100% based on luck as to what draft number you get.

Are we not using these teams in a league? I thought it was a fantasy team draft and we were going to put them in an 8 team league! Realised how stupid this sounds as i am typing it out hahahahaha

No, it's not stupid. We do exactly that with Ultimate League. This is just a forum based draft to fill in the next week or so.
