Draft Game 2016 v1

Bren, would you have selected a Hooker sooner if someone you were after slipped through a couple more rounds, or were you just going to take whoever is left?

Fully agree with your strategy as I too employed it. Only difference was I got the guy I wanted and judging from your reaction to Welshy taking Friend you did not

After Smith, Segeyaro etc were selected early on I had a look at who was left and decided I could wait toward the end to pick up a Hooker. Keep in mind Welshy also picked up JFriend. So there was enough quality to go round. I was planning on running with Luke and Farah but Beast selected Luke.

I would have taken J. Friend over Luke and Farah..

Once we start with the first team analysis can we have it that you can only answer questions asked about your team. That way we don't lose track of the voting explanations through 5 pages of bickering and opinions. Save that for after the votes are announced

I think Beast has hit the nail on the head, but at work still so someone can summarise or I will a bit later.  Those who want to stay on and go each other are welcome to, and I will enjoy watching the train wreck, but I just want to justify my team in the team thread and see the votes.

Also I totally just put up my team analysis.. enjoy the read and TL;DR is acceptable reason for the bad votes against me.

As an addition to Bren's points about waiting on his hooker, with only 7 of us competing it was just a matter of who got which one of the guns. Once Smith, Seggy, Macca and Granville were gone, there was Luke, Friend, Farah and Ennis left with only myself, Bren and Krump needing hookers. No reason to select one early as long as you were happy with potentially getting your 3rd choice and we could wait till later and draft other big guns in other positions

Will change my coach selection to Gus Gould...won a few premierships like a bazillion years ago, same reason a few other super coaches were selected right?
