If Guerra can get the starting spot and if you can be sure he plays close to 70 mins he’s a very decent shout imo. Probably underrated by some after his injuries last year and mostly coming off the bench. Decent value priced at 34. Averaged 48 year before last playing 70 minutes.

I remember Ben Jones tearing it up one year. Hopefully someone like that becomes an autopick for everyone

Ponga will probably carve it up behind a big maoris pack and people will frantically try to fit him in.

My money is on a Bromwich or Zelezniak to dangle the carrot this year.

I have been sitting on this team for a while now

    Friend
    Haas Knight
    Dfifita Lowe Stimson
    Cleary Luai
    Mbye Lomax
    Pap Brimson Isaako

    Brailey Koro Grant Su'a
    Mann Magoulias Musgrove Talau

Stimson, Lowe, Su'a, Isaako, Grant, 18-21 are all TLT dependent.
My gut pick would be Mitchell but I can't fit him in yet.

Glasby starting lock 19 times last season most Knights fans I've seen posting still have him there and Fitz Barnett on the edges. I see no reason Guerra gets starting edge

Won't be a bad pick on its own but probably kill the team value.

Its been confirmed by Barry Toohey (and others) that Barnett is looking likely to start lock, and Guerra/Sione have been fighting for the right edge position.

Speaking of the Knights, someone like Fitzgibbon could be a smokey to return to big scores

14pts per game to make up from tackles at centre and goal kicking. I think he'll lose a chunk of cash

4k ITB (I ideally want a little more money but this is only a first draft)

I might drop Friend depending on what happens with Verrils.
If any good Front Row options pop up then I will drop Haas and get Taumalolo instead.

Knight, Twal, Stimson, Lowe, Tapine, Wakeham, Cleary, Hopoate, Moga, Holmes, Ponga are on my maybe list.

    Thoughts??

Feb 7th tweet "Trials will be interesting and likely to decide who starts but at this stage, Barnett a big chance of shifting to lock. Guerra/Sione to play on right edge."

    That's just guessing

Fitz is a good shout. Will be watching his performances in trials

Not bad mate. Obviously I'd assume you'd drop Isaako if on the wing? I'm really toying with the idea of running both Lucy and Garner, it looks good. Shame your 1K short. Not personally sold on JMK at that price but he should score well for the position. I'm not 100 percent convinced on Friend just yet. Bench is good. I'm hoping by some miracle the Grant trade can happen, or Walters starts instead.

    Who is Smith? Brandon Smith?

    For me:

    Great
    Great, most have Knight/Mofo
    Nice potential, who?, Great
Nice potential, risky with Lino back and Crossland in waiting
    Great, nice
    Great, maybe risky now, nice-ish

    Nice
    Great
    Nice
    Great

All good 18-21 and watchlist. If this were my team I'd upgrade Mikaele, drop Smith and move Brimson into Half for Mann and get a basement cow WFB

Fitz had a 12 point drop from the previous years avg (when playing 60+ minutes). What do you think will improve his score?

I don't really think he will, just saying he could. His last season wasn't great, but he's shown the ability to average 50. Probably needs to score more tries again to do it, it was his attacking stats that were down last year.

Reports from the Mole (yes the Mole) that Bunty Afoa has suffered a serious knee injury and will be out for most of the season. It was reposted by NRL physio so it may actually have some truth to it

Not sure how it affects Warriors' rotation (if at all) as he ended year on interchange and didn't play final 3 rounds

    Thanks mate!

Yeah I would drop Isaako if he was on the wing and bring in Hall or Suli (via Lomax)
If I do that I will be able to afford Garner

I can't find any other halves that offer more value than JMK (I've already got Mann + Luai)

I agree with Friend, if he looks like he will get good minutes I will keep him if not I will find another option.

It would be great if the Grant trade could happen but I don't think it is likely to happen. I would assume if that's the case then Mbye will start at hooker with Walters on the bench (Leilua and Momirovski in the centres)

Brandon Smith, I think he is underpriced with the potential to be a 50 point player if players in the starting pack get injured.
