While we are over analising Haas, it would be remiss of me not to point out that all the Broncos games during Ramadan are all after sunset so he will be playing on a full stomach and drinking fluids.

Don't forget to join the NRLFF Leagues this year. It's open to all, plenty of new regulars yet to sign up, and plenty of old heads still to sign up too.

This is probably a stupid question but how do you figure out what a player is priced at?

Divide price by 14500 or view them on www.footystatistics.com

NRL.com has Jack Bird as a utility on the predicted round 1 teams and Boyd starting in the centres

The biggest problem with fan forums is they always vastly overestimate the ability of young players and their chance of beating out an established first grader to a starting spot. it can happen, but not nearly as often as forums would think.
I am not sure if S Crichton talk came from a fan forum or not - but I am still not sure who misses out to let him in our of Whare and Naden (Naden I guess, but he went OK last year)
Yes this, fans tend to overestimate the abilities of anyone who is not playing at that particular point in time (i.e. injured players, young players, out of favour players) especially if the club is going through a rough patch or leading into a new season when memories are short

Of course Boyd is playing centers. Who do you think planted the drugs at Izaia Perese's place. Had to secure his spot somehow.

First saw Crichton mentioned on the NRL predicted teams - wasn't on their "official" list, but Jamie Soward reckons he should be there ahead of Whare.

if you have a look at Jamie Soward's predicted teams on nrl.com he is an absolute bandit for throwing a bunch of rookies into the team and ditching a bunch of established players. There is no doubt a few players will be bolters (and Crichton might be one of them) but we are going to have to wait for TLT
ps I would love Crichton to be a bolter

Am hopeful after a couple of pre seasons now, we see a more battle hardened TPJ.

Totally agree - the whole point of being a pundit is to throw enough shit at the wall that something sticks. The key is making sure you are able to gloss over the misses.

At least the Mole tends to make one outlandish claim at a time. Wacko sits on the fence so much he's got more splinters than a ninja turtle cosplay convention. Pretty sure I once saw a prediction from him that a player would definitely start, unless he's injured in which case he won't play or may come off the bench.

I think I'm in trouble this season. I've over analysed, drifted from the vanilla team and will be too attached to my picks. So much easier leaving the analysis to everyone else, picking and cookie cutter and jumping straight off the duds. I need a long hard look in the mirror

How long have you been waiting to use that ?
Harsh crowd with the down vote. Didn't think Wacko came over from Sportal.
And I definitely possibly remember a player who was guaranteed to start if they got on the flight but wouldn't if they didn't.

Agree, but I have Crichton in my NPR's because he is a cheapish DPP and because the entire Panthers backline loves an injury. So, I expect he should get a few games during the season !!
