The way I see it if you get all your picks right, you won't want to trade any of them out. If you get one wrong(everyone will) it's easy enough to find cash to grab who you need to

While all you fools squabble over cash generation, i am picking 17 players who will produce keeper scores from round 1. I will have 34 trades available come the first bye.

Magically made a team with $0 ITB - Thought I'd share.
What are everyones thoughts on having cash reserves? What is an optimum amount & why?
robelgordo wrote:Aside from Hunt, other gun players I really like but don’t have the balls to pick:
Papalii - averaged 59 post Origin, and possibly higher again in the finals! (Haven’t checked but that game where he wrecked Souths must have been worth loads)
Pearce - think he will push 50 ppg, same price as George Williams, can’t believe you’d go the Super league half in that price bracket
SST - he’s the only elite middle who hasn’t had IRL translate to fantasy, I think he goes >50 this year like all the others, which makes him at least 70k under priced
EDIT: I also probably won’t pick TTrbo but I’ve spend a lot of time trying to make room for him.

Big Pap is a beast. Always takes advantage of his offseason and it shows early.
Man he was good to watch towards the end of last year though.

Yeah I suspect he’s going to start quite a bit slower than 59ppg. But if he’s 100% for post-Origin I’ll be keen for a repeat.
One of the many things I think i did badly last year was looking a bit too backwards with my late trades for guns. So I missed even seriously considering like D Fifita, Papalii, Tevaga, Ma’u etc.

Someone remember how Ash Taylor used to go before he went bad?

My biggest issue with AT has always been his reluctance to run the footy/take the line on.
He managed to put up reasonable scores prior to 2019 with a crazy amount of try assists from kicks. Can he keep that up?
