Not too much that will change the shape of teams in round 1.


Carrigan and Knight will almost certainly get 2rf added.
Crichton (if named at centre) should get ctr..
Walters (hok) not much use.
FUS would get ctr added

I'm putting my dunces cap on and asking why the preseason ? Don't they have to play XXX amount of games in that position to be eligible ? eg. MBye out for 2 weeks if Walters is named HOK he gets DDP. But if he was named on the bench he wouldn't ?? Then if he was named at HOK for the 2 weeks MBye is off on origin duty it doesn't count because it's mid season ?

I think the "pre round 1" updates are to get any players who have a clear change of role going into the new season. I think Walters is fair, there has been enough noise about him having the running for starting 9 in the past week or two .

I do too, it just seems a bit skewed. Chrichton would have been a better example. Potentially plays 1st round then never again all year but has DDP all year.

I found last year picking a team on TLT with a clear slate was the best way to go for me, or at least helped me make more objective decisions rather than picking guys who I've had in my team all preseason for the hell of it. This year I've got about 10 locked into my team and I'll fix up the other half next week haha

Coming back to my wishlist, I would like to see Wiliame get DPP if named in the CTRs, and also Salmon if named in the CTRs. They would be straight into my starting site

Salmon a chance to nab a CTR spot? Blake is locked in but who is the other one, I can't even recall. Surely Taka has to go, he's past his time, and shit IMO. Jennings maybe?

anybody planning on naming a ballsy captain in round 1? I'm very tempted by Moses, Bankwest stadium with a big crowd against the a likely bottom 8 side and it's round 1 so anything can happen. Could be a nice little POD if it pays off considering 1/3 of the competition will probably be captaining Haas

Thought about it, but if I'm buying Haas it's because he will be the highest averaging player this year. Made way to many mistakes trying to POD Captain last year. The (c) goes on him every week he is named.
