    That's a big gamble. You don't want to be on the back foot from round 1, especially if you have a few flops in your team. I can't recall who I captained in round 1 last year but after a couple of duds and playing the wrong cows, I never really recovered. I'd concentrate on a strong captain and worry about my choices before playing the captain roulette.

    Early season, I'm not captaining anyone other than Haas and Lolo. Later on, I'd be more open to POD plays

    Even if Moses gets 80 and Haas gets 60 you only gain 20 points on those who own both Moses and Haas (c) so it's not worth the risk in R1 when that's less than a point a round

    I have to catch up on Haas (c) as well, I somehow only captained him once last year in the final round

    I just need a 246k ctr or wfb to be named - i've run my backs down to the bare bones to afford the other players I want (eg adding moses today). In decending value i'm running a 17 of:

    Haas
    Lolo
    Moses
    DFifita
    Friend
    Pappy
    Lucy
    Koro
    Williams
    Brimson
    Carrigan
    Drinkwater
    Brailey
    Shibasaki
    Watkins
    Walters
    Kennedy? Williame? (up to 276k)

    If they think he is a legitimate 2nd row option, they'll add it. If they think he is just a temporary fill-in for injury, they won't
    Its sort of a catch-all thing they have in place so as not to give DPP when they don't want to

    For Mbye replacement. I'd think Momirovski (if fit) would be preferred over Chee-Kam.

    In any event I don't think Chee-Kam would be a long term starter in the backline

    There are any number of utilities that might cover Walters - JRey, Doueihi, Taylor. Possibly Madge doesn't even know who he wants yet

    With Moylan out for a month and Jmoz most likely going to the Roosters, surely Will Kennedy becomes a certain for round 1?

    Not overly ballsy but I am pretty keen on captaining Teddy round one.
    Barely anyone else has him and he's scored a few 90s in the first round in the past.

    In your eyes do you think Horse fits the bill or will be be vetoed as an “injury replacement” ?

    It was fun having him from the start and then watching him lose nearly $200K over about 3 weeks..... Very Happy

    Edit : Held him all year though, so got all of the monster scores and he ended up abut $10k more than when he started

    Just had a look into Kennedy's Canterbury Cup 2019 stats via nswrl.com.au/stats/players/

    Played 23 games

    16 tries - 2nd overall
    104 tackle breaks - 2nd
    15 line breaks - 4th
    64 points - 9th
    2556 run metres - 15th
    8 try assists - 18th

    I usually prefer the QRL games over NSWRL so I haven't seen him play but he seems talented enough for fantasy. Overall, if Moylan is only out for a month at best I don't think he's worth it. But you know how durable young Matt Moylan can be..
