If it buys me some more stability in the forwards, I think it's worth burning some trades in the backs.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 10
I'm taking a gamble on the fact that there's usually more "churn" with starting backline players so if I pick a base price player in the CTR/WFB that gets hurt/dropped after week 1 there'll be someone new to replace them.
If it buys me some more stability in the forwards, I think it's worth burning some trades in the backs.

All this talk of Kennedy possibly lining up for the Sharks, leaves me thinking, if both named as starters for round 1 are people keen on Kennedy or Aekins as a third WFB? Mainly asking for my draft team but curious as to general consensus as well.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 10
To calm some of the panic over Aekins performance over the weekend you have to remember he had a foot injury and was out for the season last year. I do wonder though, if Aekins didn't get injured last year if Edwards would have been dropped sooner. In 2018 he was also named Intrust Super Premiership NSW Player of the Year.
Surely you'd have to be a great player to be awarded that and given the opportunity he's better than the fantasy team grave robber that is Dylan Edwards. It wouldn't surprise me if we see Edwards in super league this year or next

My choice would be Aekins purely on a timeframe perspective. Kennedy looks hot but the Sharks are paying big bucks for Moylan and they'll be pushing for his return. Aekins on the other hand has a bit more time and has the potential to replace Edwards permanently with some solid performances. I could see Kennedy making more money from the beginning however that could end abruptly and Aekins would win as a long term solution.
Also, I'm a huge fan of Shooter McGavin, all time bad guy.

There is no set criteria.
If they think he is a legitimate 2nd row option, they'll add it. If they think he is just a temporary fill-in for injury, they won't
Its sort of a catch-all thing they have in place so as not to give DPP when they don't want to
Not sure if answered. But to clear one thing up. If a player is named in a position Rd1 they get that added as a spot.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 10
NRL Physio on twitter posted this 4 hours ago regarding Moylan:
"After dealing with hamstring issues over the past 12 months Matt Moylan is now being held back by a temperamental calf injury. Sharks still working to overcome it.
Could be related to hamstring issues (compensation). Calf strains known to linger, Moylan in doubt for Rd1"
He is expected to be back early rounds as per the NRL.com casualty ward. With my shiny crystal ball, I can see him being back round 3-4 to be safe.

9 players were named out of position in Round 1 last season. 7 of them got DPP and 2 (Moeroa and Montoya) did not.

Fox says round 3 at best and round 5 at worst so you're looking at 2-4 weeks for Kennedy, can't see a whole ton of value there and you're essentially banking on Moylan re-injuring himself - it's probable but a better, playable option at the same price point will probably pop up next Tuesday so Kennedy is a likely no from me

Rabbitohs really struggling for depth now. That prop rotation is a big issue. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Knight shift to the props now...

How come? At worst he won't score less than his BE and then he's an easy trade down since he won't lose much money if any at all

Neither. Kennedy could only get a couple of games & also if Xerri is back then J. Morris will be f/b. Similar for Aekins with Edwards.

I thought Douiehi was guaranteed the 1? He could be pissed off now.WT2K wrote:
