Re: NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 10
Really struggling to find a half to partner Moses in my team. Don't really like the mid range options like Croft, Flano etc and also am a bit suss about Mann aswell. Also, doesn't look like there is too many 246k options besides Walters who will be in my 18-21 and Luai aswell. Also Brimson is in my wfb's. Any suggestions??

How come? At worst he won't score less than his BE and then he's an easy trade down since he won't lose much money if any at all
Koro and Levi looking like 80 minute options. Friend potentially playing 55 mins if the original WCC plan is to be believed. Obviously will wait until TLT but if he’s not playing close to 80 then I see better value elsewhere.

I do wonder though, if Aekins didn't get injured last year if Edwards would have been dropped sooner. In 2018 he was also named Intrust Super Premiership NSW Player of the Year.
Surely you'd have to be a great player to be awarded that and given the opportunity he's better than the fantasy team grave robber that is Dylan Edwards. It wouldn't surprise me if we see Edwards in super league this year or next
On this my mate who spent some time working juniors at Panthers has tipped Stephen Crichton as one to watch this year at fullback
Last year he tipped To'o and Liam Martin, year before Kikau and JFH

Maybe you should just move Brimson to your HLFs?KingTeddy wrote:Really struggling to find a half to partner Moses in my team. Thinking of running Walters ATM. Either that or Brimson/Drinkwater

Nicholls is back for round 1 most likely so we will be fine with Nicholls and Amone relieving Tatola and Tom.trubluwanksta wrote:
Rabbitohs really struggling for depth now. That prop rotation is a big issue. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Knight shift to the props now...
Lowe will hopefully be there.
Then it just depends if we play AJ in the 14 or play a 4th forward which would be between Koloa who is a second rower who can play middle too or Sironen who killed it in the CS could get the nod.
We may offer Sele a top 30 contract too, I think he’s earnt it.
Rodwell our prop who has come through the juniors has just come back from injury for his first hit out over the weekend and he’s in our top 30.
We have Kurt Dillon also but he always seems to be injured.
I still reckon Knight starts at lock for round 1.

I’ll have a guess and say your back 3 right now is Drinkwater, Brimson and Pap.White Lightning wrote:
Neither. Kennedy could only get a couple of games & also if Xerri is back then J. Morris will be f/b. Similar for Aekins with Edwards.
Just be aware Drinkwater is in quite a bit of doubt for round 1.
I’d love Williame to get named and I’d prove start him in my WFB but we all know what Mary is like....

With current events everyone is a doubt for round one.
Seriously though, whether it's an individual having to go into isolation for a month, a whole team catching it, or large events being cancelled (Serie A, the Ireland/Italy rugby) I'd be amazed if the season is not disrupted by coronavirus.
Of course the most important thing is how that impacts fantasy.

I'm in the same boat Trublu, I really like Friend but I decided to drop him for now and get Levi in at Hok and then have koro on bench.
but looking at WWC He did what we wanted him to do, I'm just worried about him sharing the minutes which i've heard some good and bad things from.
I also then have my Rooster mate going cold on him saying that hell lose minutes and he's worried for injuries on him.

Please excuse my complete stupidity, but where do I find a PM?Milchcow wrote:
Some have, some haven't
Each league has been assigned a captain to create the league and send out invites. (either a mod, or someone responsible in the case of L1 where none of the mods are good enough to qualify of their own accord)
They started being created last night, so check your PMs over the next couple of days

Luai’s shit performance has thrown me. Was planning on having him in the 13 but now I need a reshuffle

Either or both Doueihi and Momirovski will start the game as one of them has to kick! We learnt the hard way last year that GK is very very important!Milchcow wrote:
For Mbye replacement. I'd think Momirovski (if fit) would be preferred over Chee-Kam.
In any event I don't think Chee-Kam would be a long term starter in the backline
There are any number of utilities that might cover Walters - JRey, Doueihi, Taylor. Possibly Madge doesn't even know who he wants yet
