    Williams or Tapine?

    Ah right positional cover.

We won’t have to worry about that bud as King Carrigan will get DPP in a week’s time

for the sake of discussion, someone that hasn't really been mentioned at all is ol' reliable Captain Cam, finished the season with a couple 70's on the back of picking up mass KM with the Storm's 'three fullback' strategy, could be a goer for the million dollar mark if that keeps up.

Williams for me pal. Sutton out week 1 makes our teamsheet interesting as I thought he was pretty close to nailed starting lock. Now a question of whether Soli gets it or not.

If Tapine is on the edge I will definitely consider him. He’s good as 80min edge. Not so good as 55-60 middle.

    So for now... Williams

    Brailey for 9
    Williams for 13

As nailed as that comes. What am I missing?

I am probably going to give him a swerve as it looks like there will be a couple of other reasonable picks

I am in this camp as well, there doesn't seem to be any value there at the moment. If Williams ends up becoming a bust, sure. But right now no. As much as I love Toby Rudolf as well it is hard seeing him get any real value or quality minutes.

A shame the sharks have gotten a poor return from Wade Graham last few seasons. He is a more than capable halves fill in, if he were on the field consistently.

Feel free to post up your teams in the Assistant Coach section or update your threads. I will have some time to review the teams there.

Bellamy said recently that CS9 will get more rests this year whether he likes it or not just to preserve his mind & body. Maybe he wants to give Grant more game time (esp with B. Smith injured) to stop him from leaving the Storm.

Uhg, I just got PTSD from the Hunt 2014 remark. I was just too stubborn to admit my mistake and went the whole season without. So painful to watch bottom dollar players smash it every week when in everybodies team but yours. It’s a serious health concern!

Edit: I just looked it up- he averaged 57.8 that year. I still feel the butthurt 6 years later.

Same - I'll 100% agree there. I'm exactly the same. Like last year, everyone picked Bird, and I refused to because he sucks. Then I watched him rack up the good scores, flat out refusing to bring him in....

    Wishful fantasy thinking...

What if he spells Williams after 30/35 then finishes the game at dummy half when Williams comes back for his second stint. They would need to give him the 14 in place of Tracey and carry Rudolf Ueleand 2 of Bukuya/Sorensen/Hunt.

I imagine that if he is just there to tackle and not run the ball he woudnt play on in tight games or games where they are down. Also if BBrailey wants to eventually be an 80 min hooker he could just be a middle.

I reckon a decent shout for the first 5 weeks until BBrailey gets 80min match fitness and if Tracey isnt on the bench

They are under the impression Arthars gets the wing spot. Staggs to take shots at goal if thats the case.

About the people worrying about Aubo, even if Morris moves to Roosters and plays CTR wouldn't Crichton just play middle off the bench like he did at the back-end of last year when Aubo started all those games in a row (R15-R24)

Crichton started interchange while Aubo and Cordner were fit (R15-R19) and only started from R20-R25 while Cordner didn't play and Aubo was rested R25

Croft's role and importance at Brisbane getting talked up, as well as him getting early ball to Staggs so he can get chances to run. https://www.nrl.com/news/2020/03/02/oates-croft-is-broncos-most-important-buy-of-last-decade/
