Also thoughts on horse v tapine? Im currently leaning towards horse bc canberra usually play edge backrowers for 80 but by the looks of their bench that may not be the case if whitehead plays 80. Any advice appreciated

Pretty strange bench.. but at the same time, hopoate wouldnt offer much in 10 mins anyway. May as well have isaako for coverage
Haas for 80

Anyone considering going without haas and lolo?
If Afifita is good to go, I'm considering going him as captain with no haas and lolo.

I'd go Tapine mate. Obviously tlt dependant but he's got a long term role as a starter and has proven pedigree.

See above, Haas a high chance to play 80 minutes. If so he is a must have captain.Dttragic2016 wrote:Anyone considering going without haas and lolo?

Afifita's knee didn't look right during the trial, I wouldn't have him as captain.

it's not outside the realm of possibility that Macca could play a lock-forward role in addition to resting Turpin

Surely if this happens it is only while Ofa is stood down for 2 games as after then they'd have Ofa, Flegler, utility + 1 on bench which would at least be a little stronger

Heard on seven news tonight Morris to Roosters could happen very very soon.
If that’s the case I don’t think I can go with Aubbo.

Just waiting on TLT now, then all will be revealed. Not much point wasting time on it before then.Rabbits21 wrote:Is anyone else still feeling a bit flustered re their centres?

Watkins/Shiba then who else I don’t know.mattnz wrote:

Staggs is tempting me to just put him in there as he should average around 39-40 and I could just keep him there.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 10
IF Haas plays 80, does it really make that much difference?
It's seems likely to be very short term, and averages 70.8 from 4 matches where he's played the full 80 - only 3 points above where he is priced. PPM definitely looks like it drops below 1 for full games. (Not that you wouldn't take a 70 average)

Re: NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 10
Broncos carried a hooker and a back on the bench a bunch of times last year, I don't think it's a massive change in tactics.
I'd expect McCullough to play a bit of lock if bench goes as suggested

I was going to say I don’t think 80 min Haas scores more than 65 min Haas

I'll start with said replacement and hope he scores well enough for me to trade him to Deadwoods when he's back.

I hope there is a few surprises to keep things interesting.
I would love to see a few auto pick options require a second thought
Broncos might pull something sneaky to get a bit of impact on a weak looking bench
Thinking something like this makes the team look a lot more balanced
8.Haas
9.Turpin
10.Flegler
11.Glenn
12.TPJ
13.Carrigan
14.McCullough
15.Fifita
16.Kennedy
17.Hopoate
Full strength broncos imo still sees Fifi off the bench. They want TPJ starting and Fifi on at 20-25 until the end.

Cheers mate I love fantasy!
Should be fun as I’m in L10 like you as well and it seems half the league are top 700 players. I ranked 599th last season my first in playing for overall. I found last season easier to put a side together though than this season. It’s gonna be good fun though and a good challenge for all of us.
What’s your team name mate in our league? I’m Bunny Boy Brothers.
I’ve gone cold on Lomax but lack of options may have me re-consider him.
Burns has so much potential but geez he’s made of glass and his hammies are dodgy. I may end up going with him too and then if he got injured again and burnt me again like last season I’ll be doing this
Then I guess with the whole Shiba/Watkins debate I guess you gotta close your eyes and randomly pick one/maybe even flip a coin.

80 minute Haas just means he’s more likely to stay where he’s priced. And unlikely to drop like a few of us were hoping
