Small sample size, but did score higher in games over 70 minutes (72.7 average, with no tries), than under 70 minutes.

If he plays 80 each week like Jurbo does, he averages over 70 for the season.

It's seems likely to be very short term, and averages 70.8 from 4 matches where he's played the full 80 - only 3 points above where he is priced. PPM definitely looks like it drops below 1 for full games. (Not that you wouldn't take a 70 average)
Haas is must have for me personally!

Haas for 80 talk is just people with Haas trying to justify their selection in his mind.

But he'll certainly play big minutes, whatever the bench and score well too.

Has everyone gone cold on Hess? Still deciding between Hess or Carty Party. Thoughts?

At worst I still see him averaging 64ish

I can’t go with Carty and now with talk of Hess playing in the middle more in games I think that’ll limit his minutes.

In the last 2 trials Hess didn’t score well either, virtually no tackle busts or offloads.

He also scored a 65 in the QF against the Eels (from 80 mins)
If Haas plays 80 each week, I'm tipping he gets injured

Rounds 24 and 25 last season are indicative of what Haas can do in big minutes. His other 80 minute game was just his 3rd game of the season, so wouldnt have been at peak fitness after bench warming the first few rounds.
    Round 24 - 48 tackles, 234 meters = 71 points pure base
    Round 25 - 48 tackles, 234 meters = 71 points pure base

Not a mistake, Mr Consistency putting up identical numbers in each of those rounds. Just 1 missed tackle in each of those games, doesn't get tired and drop off tackles.

Whether he plays 60 each week or 80, he'll almost certainly end up averaging over 60, but probably not more than 70.
I don't think anything had really changed regardless of what the Broncos end up running out with

The whole Haas / no Haas argument is doing my head in, all over again. He's far and away the best scoring FRF and the most reliable captain option going. Yes, you can argue Tolo, Cook & the GOAT are also solid/excellent captaincy options, but there's just too much value in the Hooker / 2RF position to warrant spending that kind of coin in those positions. Any of the top tier guns could go down injured, with the caveat being nothing seems to ever break CS9!! If you don't run with Haas from the start and he busts out a couple of 75+ games early, are you willing to shrug your shoulders and say "Oh well, the big kid is that good" and leave your team alone.

I know how my fantasy brain works.
If Haas goes bust, it's less pain as so many teams will run him.
If I didn't have him and he stays the dominant fantasy player he is, I'll burn my team and trades to pick him up.

    That's a whole heap of stress I don't need.

This is just my little rant. Bludger out.

The guy is a freak, there's no doubt.
That's a neat coincidence, but I guarantee your not expecting that every week from round one. Especially as on that basis after a long preseason he's probably not arty peak match fitness now...
He'll score well, I just don't think the theory he may play 80 is worth popping champagne for just yet
