Welcome to the 3rd annual NRL Fantasy Fanatics Forum R0bdOg Memorial Cash Comp
Our NRL Fantasy Fanatics cash comp is dedicated to the memory of one of the veterans of the NRL Dream Team and Fantasy World-Rob Carpenter. Rob passed away from a sudden cardiac arrest on the 22nd of April 2017 at the age of 25 whilst playing for his beloved Blackstone United FC. Rob was an original Sportal and Fanatics poster as R0bdOg and ItsRobdog; as well as being a long term member of the Legends Facebook group. His team Bani Rubble was a consistent performer and challenged for the top spot late in the 2015 season.
Last year Fanatics raised $340 in honour of Rob, and Rob's amazing family nominated The Heart Foundation as the beneficiary.
The breakdown for the Comp this year remains the same as 2019:
1st Overall: 40%
2nd Overall: 20%
3rd Overall: 10%
Highest Weekly: 10%
The Carpenter family charity of choice: 20%
In 2019 this translated to:
1st: $680 (MyTVBroke)
2nd: $340 (Al)
3rd: $170 (Verbal Kint)
Highest Weekly: $170 (Krump)
The Heart Foundation received $340 on behalf of the Fanatics who participated
In the inaugural year of 2018 the spoils went to:
1st: MyTvBroke
2nd: DarkKnight
3rd: Russ
Highest Weekly: Milchy
The entry fee is $50 and will be managed via PayPal transfer. A specific Fantasy League will be setup and codes given to each entrant to join prior to 1st Round lockout.
