Hi all, I just haven't had the time to get this up and running this year. If there is enough committed interest I will look at setting it up for a Round 2 start as would be a shame to not have it this year. So Round 1 scores wouldn't count; but understand if people feel just starting well in Round 1 is too much of an advantage even with scores not being used.

Things are full on again for me next week so if we can get maybe 20 to commit before taking any money then happy to sort it.

Sorry to everyone who has asked in here or the other threads. Have hardly read anything on the Forum this year, and literally got 5 minutes to look at Team Lists this afternoon, which is pretty much the extent of my Fantasy research thus far.

In hindsight I should have sounded out if someone else wanted to run it a week or two ago. In saying that, more than happy to get it off the ground for next week if enough are still interested.

Can we leave it open to join until Round 2 but still have Round 1 scores count?

If some suckers want to see there Round 1 score before committing I don’t really care. It’s a marathon not a sprint.

Yeah, didn't think about it that way. So if we started Rd 2 to get enough in but added the Rd 1 score on manually to determine the prizes?

When can you join those leagues up until? If it’s the last game Sun, 5 days may be long enough for everyone to commit and then first game lockout of round 2 cutoff to have paid.

Good point, might be only H2H leagues you can start after Round 1. If it's just till Sunday last game though I won't be able to sort it. Not concerned about when payment is made after Round 1. But the League closing is the issue. I think what you are saying is what we did last year or the year before and it worked.

10 or more of us upping to $100 might be another option? Less work for a potentially bigger pool and better odds of claiming a prize. Not sure how everyone else sits with that sort of investment? But I'd easily be happy to go to $200 personally. 10 diehards on that and it's our biggest pool in 4 years and a decent chance of at least getting your money back. Although the $100 and a minimum of 15 players in might be the go all round?

Don’t think we would get many at $100. I was initially thinking the opposite and make it less for more entrants. I just like having something riding on it and dont really care if the total purse is large.

I'm still keen, but doesn't faze me if it doesn't happen. Prefer $50 but $100 doesn't faze me either. Getting the league sorted by round one is the trickiest part probably. I'm happy to create the league, advertise and chase people up, but probably wouldn't be able to figure out the taking money part in time though, perhaps if SI still held the money??
