If Angus Crichton is named at centre round 1 will he get Dual position. Tempted to just make a team with him at centre if that's the case and take the hit week 1.

I think if a player is just filling in he doesn't get dpp that's why Latrell never got dpp hlf/ctr last year when he played in the halves when Keary got injured. If they think Angus is just covering for injuries he may not get dpp.

nah, no way they do it now that Morris is confirmed, they'll say something like 'no DPP because he's only filling the position due to injury' like they did when Whitehead started centre round 1 a couple years back.

#2. 4 Hookers + Gun Halves. Big plus is I get Friend, Koro, Brailey, Levi in + Moses & Cleary. Probably my favourite with the most upside tbh, but running Watkins + Williame at centre scares me.
#3. Gun Hooker. Similar to #3 but swap Cleary for Drinkwater/Mann & Levi for Smith. Means I can go heavy on hookers with Smith, Friend, Koro, Brailey, but still very light on centres (watkins + wiliame again) & a 246k at 17. Smith as a POD + Koro, Friend, Brailey, and probably Walters on the bench is enticing though.
#4. More balanced side with a gun centre. Means I get Knight, have at least 1 gun centre around ~500k, and have a stronger bench with Su'a + Carrigan + Koro + Brailey, so no 246k player. Downside is only 2 genuine guns in Hass & Moses- with the hope that Friend, Knight, DFi, and whichever centre I get turn out to be guns. Probably the best balanced side and gun to my head the one I'd run with, but would like an extra gun.
Hass, Carrigan, Leilua, D Fifita, Williams, Moses, Wiliame, Pap, Brimson, Aekins, Brailey, and Koroisau are constants throughout.
Anyone have any advice on which structure they'd prefer? Genuinely undecided - they all have pros and cons that I've talked myself in and out of hahaha
I personally prefer #1 out of those 4. It's a bit more Gun/Cow. And it's a round 12 friendly team with Tolo, Moses as guns (and Knight as a potential gun)

I couldn’t afford Knight so Mikaele has been my back up FRF. Musgrove is obviously going to take minutes off him, but Twal will probably only play 50-55 minutes. The bench will be possibly Reynolds, MCK, Aloiai, and ?. Mikaele is pretty cheap so I’ll take the risk he gets closer to 50 mins.StormTrooper96 wrote:

Running without DFifita gives me a better team balance. If Friend doesn't deliver I can swap him for DFifita

I will be really surprised if they don't everything has pretty much confirmed they will and does that make Aubbs not pickable now with Morris confirmed.

yeah this is a big reason I swapped him and if Friend is a bust it gives you so many options anyway. Where if D. Fifita scores like 40 you will hold him as you hold out hope for a big score.

I like it a little, but may be too light. Mann should post consistent scores. Drinkwater may be up and down but should average 40. I prefer having Croft/JMK who can potentially his that 50 point avg.

Also on D. Fifita. People who have played fantasy for years know there's players who start slow & pick it up in the 2nd half of the season. If you look at D. Fifita's scores in 2019 he's a bit like that but it's a small sample size since we only have last year to go off not multiple years in the nrl so he could easily debunk the slow start theory.

Don't think this will happen now. Same goes for anyone filling in a short-term injury. It's subjective nowadays.

I haven't even opened fantasy since the semi bet with Rabbits that I wouldn't post a team until TLT. I guess I'm not feeling it as much yet. I reckon I should be able to settle on a team and just go with it this year. Completely different strategy I'm thinking of.
