I don't know how you've done it as I'm over the cap at the moment but I'm not against having a stash of cash in the early rounds. It means you can see how the first couple of rounds play out and are able to upgrade to a stand out player with likely only using 1 trade. As opposed to wanting to get someone who's performing well and not having any cash to do it. 290k is a fair bit though and I wouldn't want to be carrying anymore than that.

Havn’t seen this raised yet, but one of the reasons people originally thought Stimson would be getting a starting gig in the first place was the injury to RFM. But with RFM seemingly healthy and on the bench to start round 1, I can’t help but feel that Stimson is still a risky pick no matter what the punishment for CHN is.

Good I can flick stimson and pick return Friend. Gets rid of that vash as well.

I think RFM is considered a middle now. Main threat to Stimson (if CHN doesn't come back) is Britt, who by all accounts out-performed him in the trials

I’m not sure why that is, I never thought RFM was overtasked on the edge. But I guess I’m not a coach...

I have all three and am banking on all three going okay, but the one who's been in and out of my team today is JTB and for me he's the weak link in that group with the most displeasing job security.

Re Ese’Ese looking at that Knights bench I’m concerned Herman my not get the 50mins he would need.
My worry is he gets say 43mins and Watson or Glasby get 37mins.
I’m thinking Horsbrough may be the better pick.

I'm with you. Not really keen to bet on 50/50 odds, also why I've sacked Aubbo. Levi has more upside for the price in my opinion.

Mate you can be confident and still be wrong, absolutely all you can do is go with your pre season planning and research. Who the fuck knows how long Leilua will start the season playing? Ese, Horsy, Stimson
Friend is in 80% of teams here and whose to say Verrills doesn't play 25/30?
You just don't know, and conclusion R1 won't provide full clarity either, because there will be injuries etc
So many variables early season, literally just luck who starts first rounds with a bang
It's those who stick at it each week and keep plugging away and make the correct trade decisions early who always rise to the top

Doesn’t make a difference to Aubbo’s prospects. He was always going to play 80 until Morris’s return. That’s when it is up in the air. Still think he plays 80 but deep down don’t want to get burnt. Crichton has insane pedigree, his fitness was just a bit lacking last season in my opinion
