Watkins - Averages 26points in his 4 80 minute games at CTR. Also with no tries as well, but he plays with the Titans. Last year the Titans had 16 less tries and linebreaks last season and are already missing James all year and Brimson game 1. The Titans also start with Raiders (Grand Finalist last year), Eels (Top 5), Broncos (Top , and then Roosters (Premiers). 3 of 4 had positive point difference last season. To highlight their defences.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 14 - Game Day!
Shibasaki - Plays for a better attacking side, while playing CTR (70 Minute games) averages 29.3 points a game. (This removes one game he played 50 minutes in). That average is also without a try being scored. He has a better draw starting up Warriors (No RTS, 13th last year), Tigers (9th last year), Sharks (Top 7), Cowboys (14th, though they should be better.) 3 of their first 4 had negative point difference last season. To highlight their defences.

I mean Levi has Croker there as well on the bench so the same concern. Even when Verrills was starting most games he played 80 minutes as well. I think Verrills is there more for cover.

Everyone on Moses - what do you expect as a season average?
I just don't see where he will improve on from last year.
He did better without Dylan brown as a partner, who is now back. Even if he continues to kill it at Bankwest, that's what he did last year, so its priced in, plus he still plays half his games away.
He plays round 12 which is a bonus.
With Cleary, he is a bit more expensive, but playing with Luai not Maloney should see a nice bump in stats.
Cleary also has a higher floor. Lowest score was 34 last year. Moses had 5 scores under that

Personally I don't like it. What do you think Guler will score you?
If you think he will crack his way into starting team sooner or later, then you could probably have him in your 18-21. But I wouldn't have him in my 17 to start the year

Pookus McFly wrote:Anybody running Walters AND Grant? Obviously those that are confident in the deal.
I know the consensus is to do a straight swap, but if the deal goes through and Walters has a massively low breakeven, even an extra game or two off the bench for him could find some precious cash injection. The only issue is it relies on another basement priced cash out appearing at the same time.
At the moment I am, would maybe get rid of Grant for Musgrove, but don't know his upside, and figure that Grant might get enough minutes to make cash.

Watkins.
Smith might see a bump with the move from wing to centre. but he played 1 game there last year for 31 with a try.
His scores on the wing were nothing to write home about, and that is with a decent try scoring rate

House mate asked me for fantasy advice and I have these split 140/143 points so I told him I'd ask a mate.

A bit more consistency in his scores is expected now he is older and wiser. I think he is fingertips away from a Blues jersey so will have that in his sights.

Surely if you have him you'll keep him until the first bye at least (assuming no injury)
Any trade would be very sideways

Need to decide between 3 options
A: Ponga + D Fifita + Mikaele (or someone 384k or less)
B: Turbo + D Fifita + Drinkwater
C: Friend + Arrow + Drinkwater

What i noticed with Moses at 9s and trial game is he look solid on defense. Maybe less miss tackles helps his average?
Ideally id start with both but im happy to go with Moses

Unless Benji gets injured, and even then JRey probably gets that spot.Milchcow wrote:

Grant will be a big minute hooker, even if Walters grabs a bench spot, he won't score enough to do anything good with it (fantasy wise)

I expect Cleary to average a little more but I also expect Cleary in Origin so will miss bye round and potentially be rested in another game so I expect Moses to score more overall points

Re: NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 14 - Game Day!
Cleary vs Moses is interesting. Cleary will be the dominant half & everything will go through him but in the 1st 5 games he plays Roosters, Storm & Raiders. Moses is not the dominant half & will share duties with D. Brown but the opening draw is better than the Panthers. Also Moses plays round 12 whereas Cleary doesn't. At the end of the season Cleary will have the better average but imo Moses can match Cleary in the opening rounds of the season.

Moses absolutely the dominant half in fantasy terms and that’s all that matters,GK, his KM and tackling alone gives him a +35 floorWhite Lightning wrote:Cleary vs Moses is interesting. Will score more overall with Origin as well! I’ve gone Cleary (gut) and JMK though
