B. Tapine + Horsburgh

I don't think we bought Crichton for the big bucks to play 40 minutes off the bench. The more I think about it the more it makes sense to have Aubo on the bench as ultimate back cover (crichton is a union back but not a league) and drop verrils. Taking the punt on Friend, and not going aubs for me.

If downgrading Knight to Stimson/Su'A and Aubbs to Shib/Reimis/Wakins mean't bringing in Lolo would you do it??

Edit* Just realised very similar to an above post but replace Friend with Knight Doh!!

I had Mikaele until he was benched. I can’t believe Aloiai starts ahead of him. Aloiai and Musgrove would be awesome off the bench! I think this will change pre kickoff.

Moses scored under his 35 'floor' 6 times last year. None of which were affected by injury

His floor has improved from previous years when he could score sub 20, but its still not as high as other halves.

He already has bulk kick metres, bulk try assists, bulk conversions. He can score more than the 2 tries he got last year (4 if you include finals) but I don't think he has as much room to improve as people think.

Cleary however, can improve his kick metres and attacking stats without Maloney around. And he has a much higher floor


Anyway, that's all my way of saying Cleary over Moses

Hasn't much been made of Aubbo senior head on the field? Only 80 min Rooster forward in WCC. Played 80 mins 2RF last season rds 15-24 Crichton was interchange rds 15-19 until Cordner injured

My issue with going Lolo is it stops you going for mid rangers who can make good money.

Are others also torn on this?

I think you will find Mann and Stimson make more money than Knight and Horsburgh, and no way Croft averages 46 next to Milford.

A lot of Cleary gigantic scores last season included tries. 5/6 +60
I think Panthers have difficult opening fixtures hence why I don't have Luai in my 21

Just checked Moses +60 scores. 2/10 scored a try and just the 1 try

Ponga definitely has potential upside.

Remove his five-eight games, and give him permanent goal kicking, and he can easily average over 50

He does have that weird 6 in 80 minutes from round 25 last year (Knight got smashed 54-10) but take that away and a 55 average is achievable.

I would love to fit him in my team, but its just pretty tricky, unless I want to give up Cleary or someother gun

A- Tapine/Hess
B- Knight/Stimson

I think I’ll run Walters at 17 and see what I can do with the cash. If Grant comes, straight swap.

Bet bloody Reynolds comes on and takes all the minutes though
