can someone find some stats of Mickey Paea as I can't find anything. A few month ago I calculated he had an approx. ave of 43 last year. (using fantasy point scoring system of course). Now I can't find his stats. He's currently priced at a 30 ave so IF he gets minutes he might be a good POD

I just found that out too SI, I thought this forum was doing a "sportal" and shut down so I went back to the threads menu and found this thread listed somewhere else with a heap of pages missing

Yeah, the other thread is there with the pages but this one has started from yesterday arvo.  No dramas but page 67 seems like a strange place to stop and start, unless it's character based or something.  Will go check the Settings.

I thought it was you, hence it being split after one of your posts.

Nope, and it's locked, and a new link was posted to here and it happened today but that was mid last night that it is split.

I don't know about RCG being a bargain.

only 3 scores above 40 last year, and he wasn't scoring particularly better at the end of the year compared to the start.

I suspect Merrin will play a lot of front row, so can't see him getting too big of an increased role this year.

Not in my plans right now

Based on that you don't think Merrin will be the starting Lock? Taylor will still have that position? I wanted to pick Taylor, but Merrin's presence is a bit of an unknown, the panthers second row is a bit of a crap shoot as far as who gets how many mins?

    Superleague stats here
    http://www.superleague.co.uk/stats/player_stats

    Mickey Paea (played 18 games)
    560 tackles, 33 missed
    66 tackle breaks
    2957 metres
    2 line breaks
    7 errors
    8 offloads
    5 penalties conceded

Average of 43 in base stats, but that's just Superleague stats, not sure he'll replicate that here.

To be honest, I'm not really trying to predict the Penrith starting team.

Just wait for a couple of trials and see what happens. No need to rush into decision on assumptions that could easily be wrong

Speaking of trials, I wish they would broadcast them on Foxtel, would be great to see them. Based on last year they are not broadcast anywhere I don't believe. Perhaps they think nobody is interested in them. Which I'd hazard a guess is not true at all.

I'll put an updated planner up soon, hopefully tonight.

Magic Number I'll be using is 8935 (last year was 8835)

Players that didn't play in 2015 appear to be given a 30% discount on their last NRL scores unless they are Russell Packer (0% discount) or Sam Burgess (about 11% discount)
Probably a few other exceptions in there too.

Whitehead much cheaper than I was expecting, so based on that Joe Burgess might be at a tempting price.

Gutherson staying cheap suggest Auva'a should be cheap as well filling 2 of everyone's cheapo slots.

There was an article somewhere recently suggesting a lot of trials might get streamed online this year.

I guess in general the cost to Foxtel of getting a camera crew/commentators/etc would be too expensive to justify the return. Other than dieheard fantasy players or league tragics I don't think there is massive interest in trials. They normally show a few a year, I'm sure they know what the ratings are and whether its worthwhile putting more on or not.

Penrith/Parra apparently is going to be broadcast on Foxtel this year.

You'll find feeds for a few of them.  I will watch/listen to all Tigers trials, along with a few others.

Thanks Milchow, I think there are better options out there, unless the Knights front rowers suddenly do an ACL

Couldn't read the 2nd one but yeah, cheers.  Definitely get some randoms streams over pre season but mostly just listen to them via audio call.

There are quite often links to callers at the games if you google maybe an hour or half hour beforehand.  Not sure if there is an actual site that collates them all but.  2 of the 3 Tigers trials were broadcast last season, maybe the other 1 as well.  Sometimes you will find some random has actually decided to film it live as well, although the quality is normally shit.

I was also wondering about the splitting of the thread. Didnt this happen previously with another thread? Last time it happened I recall at the time I thought I may have accidentally done so as my comp froze that time so I started mashing keys and shit. Dont think I was online this time around so pretty sure it wasnt me.
