I was only wondering this morning where you'd been hiding. Surely not another holiday?

Being a kiwi I had a soft spot for the Tigers when Gary Freeman was running the halves. Main team was Manly though. They had the Iro's.

That was when we had two TV channels & would get one televised Sunday arvo game if there was no Union on.

Then the warriors came along. Have been miffed ever since.

Not going to worry to much about putting a full side together this early just looking at what combos or must haves i want.

Seggy/Peats is my must have hooking combo

Rochow depending on fitness and Knights line-up

Inglis because he is really a top3 WFB coming off a bad year

Gordon because he is moving back to fulltime fullback and has best byes

Not sure if I want to go heavy at the back but I'm finding it hard to go past my planned Inglis, Fergo, Gordon combo

Inglis didn't have a bad year, he's a lazy player. Plays when he has to not to his potential

Yeah him carrying an injury for weeks had nothing to do with it...

He's always carrying an injury, no doubt he's a great player when the mood takes him, but FB is a young mans game. I hope Holmes gets first crack at FB for the sharkies, he reminds me of Shek, could have a big year?

Less that Inglis is lazy, more he doesn't play well when his team aren't dominating. Souths lose their best go forward and the side struggled to to be on the front foot in many games. Also losing Reynolds for a big part of the campaign meant a big loss in direction for the team going forward. I don't expect the bunnies to be what they were two years ago but if they get to between that, and what they did last year then Inglis will likely see a rise in points

So Billy Slater should retire then?

Would love to see Holmes get an extended run at FB but having Barba in the side is enough for me to steer clear of him fantasy wise.

Every player carries an injury at some time. What about the other 20 weeks ?

Was playing around to see if I could spend exactly $6.8 million:

    Segeyaro Peats
    Surgess Matulino nuffie nuffie
Parker Rochow Buhrer Tapine Edwards Henry
    Reynolds Foran Hastings Taylor
    Lawrence Auva'a nuffie nuffie
    Gordon Ferguson Holmes Gutherson nuffie

    Doesn't look too bad.

    Lets see...

Loss of Sam Burgess and the go forward he brings
Reynolds being out injured for weeks

    Just to name a couple.

Anyone got a list of players suspended for round 1+ of the year

Tariq Sims will miss 5 weeks, in theory making Tapine a great player to start the year with

Luke Brooks misses 1 round - Rankin or littlejohn the likely replacement
Luke Keary misses 1 round - Cody Walker to get a shot

    any others?

On a side note any of you guys played Moneyball alongside NRL Fantasy? Is it worth a look? Are pricing and scooring the same as Fantasy?

I haven't tried it yet, is it the one that requires you to send in photo verification to receive your winnings? If so I passed on that one, too much work.

Slater might suck me in. Look at Storm's fixtures for the first couple of months and the potential attacking points, then trade out before Origin.

This. Hayne always copped it for the same thing but Inglis is just as bad imo.
