Parker never played 80 last year, so it was more hope than expectation that he would do so this year.
Although, I also remember last year articles talking about how Paul Gallen would no longer be an 80 minute player. Which was sort of true, he only played 80 minutes in 10 of his 16 games.

Not many people talking of starting with Gallen, could be a POD of sorts

For starting teams when you can't afford too many guns, Smith, Parker, Fifita all represent more reliable scoring.
Once origin is over when people are getting final teams together then its a bit more realistic to bring him in (if he's fit)

Carlin Anderson mate, I think he has acquired both Benjamin Button's and Cushing's Syndrome over the break.

Liked your post because I did actually laugh. It is Carlin Anderson lad. Several NRL clubs were chasing him hard but the Broncos were able to pick him up. May not be playing come round 1 but the bloke is ridiculously talented. Roberts is a massive signing but when Carlin gets a run and he will play NRL this year he will surprise many.

Pretty sure that was bullshit. I saw a post (can't verify it) from Scout to day that they were thinking after Australia Day at the earliest again.
