Warriors back to NZ ASAP, season suspended until further notice is the only outcome here.

Even if the NRL wanted to play on in empty stadiums with the Warriors opponent winning by forfeit, the situation is moving so fast... in a week there might be travel bans, hotels closed. Or a bunch of players could be sick or in isolation.

RIP NRL hopefully see you in May/June.

Just heard on MMM that Warriors will stay and base in Aus.

LATEST: Early indication from NRL - plan will be to base Warriors in Australia following NZ travel restrictions. Obviously more to develop on this story. @9NewsSyd @NRLonNine

Well they were looking at playing every game at 1 venue to minimize travel for teams anyway which would have meant Warriors would have stayed here anyway

I doubt the team has even been properly consulted yet. The news from the NZ govt came as they were preparing for the game. Maybe they had prior warning tho

Also hits super rugby big time, they will have to suspend for sure
