NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 16 - David Fifita broke Valentine Holmes ankles

783/14 with Walters, L. Leilua & Papenhuyzen to play. Very happy with my 14 players so far with only Stimson & Shibasaki scoring under 40 points. It's very tempting to sell Stimson to Kennedy mainly to raise some funds.

Let downs so far Stimson(26), Aekins(14) and Captain Cook(88) seem to have me about 40-50 points off the pace

Happy with my squad over all with no must haves missed. Aekins might be a bit of trouble but can't see a way to trade out of him if he does get dropped. Might have a red dot for a little while

Aekin with 14 is a bitch as it was a coin flip with Kennedy. That one hurts a bit.

Stimson didn't get the score I wanted but the role was fine. He will do as expected and make 100k+

I did manage to grab Kennedy as NPR, but if Aekin gets dropped that will be a hard fire to put out without a chunk of cash

Absolutely love watching all the games, then heading over to MTBs site to review all the minutes played, kick metres and points across the games after updates. And then finally going through 30+ pages of our reactions to the popular players that have played that day.

Anyways am on 755 with musgrove papz and lucy to go. Ranked 2310 atm hoping to creep up into the top 1500.

It's the first time ever I've had Aubusson in my team & he scores the first try & ends up on 49 points which could of been much more if he hadn't of been shunted to the ctrs. Now I understand the Aubs

I’ll target first Tedesco (wk3), have a long slow look at Fatfita (wk4 earliest), and wait for old man Benny to stop messing with Murray (2-5 weeks, depending on whether he remembers to take his Metamucil). If CNK falls low enough he’ll be an interesting R12 option, keeping as a poopable 18th.

Hell, on further thought maybe wait till Latrell drops 200k and grab him for 18th/ctr cover

Raiders aren't playing R12. I like the look of Latrell & Hopoate for CTR once they fall in price, especially if Latrell doesn't get Origin spot and then would play R12

Losing the crowds is one thing. I see no reason not to play on.

Even if a player gets the virus, it's very unlikely to be life threatening for them. Even so, some of the coaches may be at a risk

Glad I took Aiken out in favour of a set and forget WFB in Ponga. Although that left me with JMK/Mann at HLF who put up serviceable scores for me. Still feel a little behind the scores put up but all good

All of my NPRs scored okay so far, Brailey, Luai, Guler

Koro scored 50 points over BE

So far so good. Are we imagining a slog fest for the manly v storm game? Might hop on the under 40.5 total points

As soon as one player gets it, the comp will be called. Chances are that a player/staff WILL test positive for it and probably already has it.

The current plan seems very short-sighted and I expect it to change before round 2.

The sensible option would just be to bite the bullet but the current plan is driven by the $$$.

I'm pretty happy with my team, everyone has hit their BE so far except for Moses and Ese'ese.
If all goes well today I'll only be looking at trading out Ese'ese for Horsburgh.

Happiest last minute changes:

44 points ---> 96 points
