Had lower mins than R1 (47 mins) but still had demerits (-12 in demerits) and his positive stats were just about halved from last week (36 tackles to 19 tackles, 127m to 54m)

Thanks mate, I was really hoping he was going to be a reliable consistent scorer for my team this year. Appears not.

Still plenty of time mate (season shutdown aside).

Those were all pretty popular picks and plenty of players have shown to be worth holding for more than 1 game over the years.

Lomax, Wiliame and Kennedy aren't priority trades yet.

I have Murray too and wishing I didn't start with him, but he's an attacking weapon, so even if staying in the SR for a bit longer, I'm holding out hope he'll find the line soon and bump that average up.

Get on DFifita if he's the one you want. Some combo of Stimson, JWilliams or Musgrove depending how he goes today out.

Yeah if the numbers work out ideally I wanna trade Stimson > Grant and Williams > Fifi and my season is somewhat back on the rails. I've got Walters starting hlf and Kennedy starting wfb so I just need TLT to go my way this week lol since Wiliame is my only bench wfb cover

Most of the teams currently towards the top have a few players that are left field POD picks that are performing surprisingly well. The team "You’re A Payne In My Haas", currently ranked 11th overall is different though, have nailed every pick with a very strong team, what most of us would like our team to have looked like in a few rounds time:

    Koro
    Haas Horsey
    Fifita Carrigan Lolo
    Cleary Moses
    Fuimaono Wiliame
    Papy Drinky Lomax

    Brailey Walters Flegler Katoa
    Luai Rudolf Brown Musgrove

If Magoo starts and Grant plays his first game off the bench I think I'd rather get Magoo first. I should be able to do Levi/Williams to Cleary/Magoo but only with 2k left, will be tight with price changes.

nice team though WFB cover is missing.I wonder if he/she brought in Fui for just one round or was he carrying him from Rnd1.

Obviously if hes not running hes gotta go.

I thought Croker looked better in defence and attack but weirdly was gassed after only about 8-10mins out there. Definitely missing Fainu

Guys I need help. Should I get Cleary or DCE next week? Both look so good and with DCE's 29 points from kick meters last night that really threw him into the conversation for me. Right now I am leaning towards Cleary as he kicks goals and looks in red hot form. Thoughts on who I should get?

Both great options, Cleary has been scoring tries, imagine that won’t keep happening every game but going to want both eventually anyway so probably just get whoever is cheaper or has the better run of fixtures

That centre pairing though! Surely only a matter of time till it crashes and burns.
Still, we all have weaknesses at this time of the year and like you say, they've nailed most of it so far.

It's a long season (God willing)

Mate that’s exactly what I’m stuck with as well.

I’ve no idea what to do.

Don’t have enough spare for Lolo.

Agree with this. Yeo is 100% safe & plays 80 mins. He played the first quarter on the edge & the rest of the game in the middle which is great. Both Lawrie & Flegler have a bit of uncertainty around them. Wouldn't it be great though if Flegler was 100% safe he's just one of those players purpose built for fantasy.
Do you think Yeo can keep it up though?

Normally he averages low to mid 40’s!

Yeo is abit like aubo 2.0. In previous years he’d be the first thrown into the ctrs if there’s an injury but with Crichton floating around this looks unlikely. His avg wouldn’t be a true reflection of how he actually scores as an 80min forward. It’s a shame he isn’t a dual ctr as a forward I think there’s probably better options but he’s definitely a pod

I may look at a Williams to Magoulias/Grant trade to a Knight to Taupau trade, how does that sound?

I have the same 4 guns plus Fifita, Papy and Koro, just a different mix of mid rangers. It can be done. He spent $500k total on centers.

What's everyone's thought on Papenhuyzen. He is not an immediate sell per se but I can easily jump to Ttrbo now before TTrbo starts rising in price. I wonder if its jumping the gun too early or should i concentrate on getting a better replacement for Knight.

Taupau interests me, if he gets 3 stints each week, having him on the field and fresh is clearly important to Des, only a matter of time before he busts out a 70-80, would like to have him before then. If origin happens, he is a must have in round 12, so you want him at some point. Not sure if he is an urgent trade in like some others are at this point though.

To be fair, he's 11th mid round right? Mid round score doesn't mean much. I outscored him last week, when his centre pairing got a total of 37 points.

Avoid middies unlike most of us suckers and has 8 base price players that have largely scored well. Wiliame/Fuimaono isn’t going to score 100+ pts in a round again this season though. So going forward, could be problems moving all these cheapies on. Or could be genius. Hopefully we all get to find out.
