As much as everyone wants it to be on it ain’t worth it! Only at the start at it’s going to get far far worse. See how quick it’s changed over here, currently being advised to not visit mothers for Mother’s Day. 1 person to the shops and only if needed, on Friday every shop, club, restaurant was open Now it’s takeaway only in night with delivery drop off and only grocery shops open in day. Got to be sensible, it’s not worth it

The big difference with the NRL (and AFL until now) compared to sports around the world is Australia had some advanced notice of the pandemic. They were able to isolate to a degree before it took over. Im sure if you asked the NBA what would you do if you had a months notice before the virus got out of hand what would you do, they would have tried to isolate and keep the comp going.

The NRL is playing up that attitude too. Fox are celebrating the "dont give a fuck" attitude of the dudes on scaffolding with 15 mates outside the ground. It means every other bloke at home takes that on themselves. "Oh well if theyre doing it then why shoukdnt we goto the pub?"

The players still arent isolating. They are socialising and going home to their families and whatever. Only a matter of time til someone is positive, or if tou want to tin foil hat, if you dont get tested you cant test positive? Lol

All Shiba gets to do is bring the ball out of trouble but once it goes over halfway he can just snooze off as it ain’t coming that way even if we put a tent up overnight!
