I hope there arent too many of us on here effected either from a health point of view or financially from job losses. I am lucky I am in a job that has very high security but my thoughts are with any of you guys struggling currently. Hopefully we all band together and come out the other side of it ready for round 3 in the next few months.

Govt is going to have to bail out a lot of businesses during/after this, effectively nationalising them for durarion of crisis. NRL clubs will be in that queue. They'll go "bust" but won't stop existing, imo.

V'landys must've captained Stimson this round

The moolah is all that matters hey ! Bastards.

All salaried jobs over here currently being promised 80% of annual if they are forced off into isolation and not able to continue work.
£94 a week statutory sick pay for self employed which is shit but they are working on something because that is unsustainable for most
ONE good thing that may come of all this is the NHS simply HAS to be backed by the government when we come out of the other end of this, no broken promises. They have worked their tits off in all this currently and it's only going to get worse. Our main investement has to be pumped into the health service

Tigers should be fine too. Outside of Wests Ashfield when they do re-open... Harry Triguboff apparently there too if needed.

Still catching up on everything but if there's anything on in relation to PlayStation rl4 count me in. Have been playing it today. I know this issue is serious and there's a lot more at stake but genuinely upset about no sport on

Crap news. I’m not sure when our clinic will shut but we’ve lost 30+ hours of knights work a week and a lot of clinic work in less than a week. I’m far from alone so thoughts go out to everyone effected by this financially, health wise or family wise
If the season finished now knights would be second and my team would have finished 73rd. Shame it means nothing!
Stay safe legends!

80% of annual up to £2.5k/month, so footy players would take a pay hit, but hey they'd survive. Also, it's not just sick pay, it's also if your company can't afford to pay you due to reduced activity or closure and has to lay you off. The idea is that the businesses and jobs are still there at the end of this and can bounce back.
Similar schemes are running across Europe already. Hopefully for Aus they follow this route rather than the current Trump one.
I just hope that treatment can be found in the next few months, which would go a long way to getting things back to normal, then a vaccine after that. All the big scientific brains working overtime on this, so hopeful the sum of human intelligence can fix this.

I guess the kids aren’t getting their Tigers membership stuff then. At least they received the phone charger -that’s all that really matters as they’ll be on it non stop now!
