NRLFF 2006 Fantasy thread - Round 2, Trade Rage!

If its missing something, let me know, try and catch any errors before round 2 starts

If Verbal or someone with excel skills wants to pretty it up, or add in a customisable team tracker to add in then go for it and I can try to incorporate it into future versions.


Explanation of Tabs
Summary - current leaderboard with team value, cap remaining and weekly scores on it

Lookup - player research in the format that I use, Each week this will have more history in it. Shows players current price and BE

Pred - the weekly price movement and this weeks BEs (more on BEs in next post)

Teams - everybodies teams, including weekly scoring history. Each week you will get last weeks team again, unless you notify me of any trades, I guess this will be easiest way to work out how cap value for making trades
If there is a better way to display this let me know and I'll see what i can do
Will specify method of trading in the next post


R1 - All the scores for round 1 for you to look at

R0 - this is just the sheet from team planner I sent containing initial values and any available 2005 stats

Byes - Bye planner

You don't need to tell me salary cap value, I'll work that out myself

At the same time as telling me trades, please give me your updated 17 man squad for the week

All I want is a list of 21 names (spelt as per the spreadsheet), not spaces in between, no positions, not anything

First 17 players will score, next 4 will be AE in the listed order
It doesn't matter whether you start your team list with WFB or start with HOK, as long as you meet the positional requirements

I used verbal's team as example, but I didn't check if his trades were cap compliant, if you bust your cap I'll reject your trades and you can keep last week's team
(I will try to let you know this before lockout if possible to give you time to readjust)

BEs

(this is only useful if you have a vague undertstanding of how price changes work)

I used a Magic Number of 14,500 to generate prices, but that didn't really include kick points, and it wasn't super accurate

As such I have changed the Magic Number to 15,000, so BEs will be different to publshed.

But I will keep 15,000 as the magic number every week going forward, rather than adjust it to reflect actual weekly points scored.

This means that price changes each week won't sum to 0 (this week we lost about half a million in salary from the game)
But it does mean you can trust the BEs I publish to be accurate from this week on, if someone beats their published BE, you know they will make money.

If we want to do this, I just generated a random draw online. I entered the teams in order of R1 scores I.e. easy tiger was Team 1, I was team 20 etc.

I can’t work out on my phone how to easily copy over the saved draw into a workable format, but can get it in a spreadsheet or something tomorrow when I’m on a desktop.

But if anyone wants to get some beer, I recommend Philter if its available wherever you are. They are only a few years old, I know one of the guys involved (he's a keen Sharks fa), and with pubs shutting its cut off a bunch of their sales. Its great beer too. The XPA and the Red are both great
