If we want to do this, I just generated a random draw online. I entered the teams in order of R1 scores I.e. easy tiger was Team 1, I was team 20 etc.

I can’t work out on my phone how to easily copy over the saved draw into a workable format, but can get it in a spreadsheet or something tomorrow when I’m on a desktop.

    EDIT: here’s R1 (NRL R2) copied over

    Round 1

    Cookie Monster GreenMachine

    Filth Ridden Empyreal

    Clack Bocks Shadow Sabre

    Whitelightning Mattnz

    MS MrStephenB

    Verbal Kint HereforBEs

    Teeth Eater Camo123

    Jumping Marlin Robelgordo

    Code Delta Easy Tiger

    Moanaman Quicksand

    Welshy Wolfking

    Good work Roberlgordo,

Once you have it in a sheet can you send it through and I'll try incorporate it into my my weekly results.

Gronk question time. Pretty sure this was addressed in the other thread, but base price is 246, is it? Just asking regarding Shackleton. He's 246 not 239? Sorry if this was clearly defined elsewhere. 😬

But if anyone wants to get some beer, I recommend Philter if its available wherever you are. They are only a few years old, I know one of the guys involved (he's a keen Sharks fa), and with pubs shutting its cut off a bunch of their sales. Its great beer too. The XPA and the Red are both great

Good call. Awesome beer. And don't forget the IPA. Outstanding drop.

I'm actually 3/4 way through an xpa case at home, as fate would have it.

yes base price is supposed to be 246

I don't think I put the coding in though, so I'll update later today.

That applies to anyone else who dropped below

We may want to speed up this comp, NRL to make a decision on 21st April, which could see the comp restart on May 28th. https://www.smh.com.au/sport/nrl/safest-place-on-earth-nrl-to-decide-on-season-on-april-21-20200405-p54hal.html

Considered trading in JT to chase some cash, but he only makes another ~70k if he scores his priced average from here. I don't remember JT scoring over 10 tries in a season so with 3 already out of the way there is not much upside left.

I'll have to wait until team lists to assess trade targets

Would make bulk cash purely off his tackle count mate. Add in the run metres, offloads and occasional attack stats he should be a decent cash maker

Even with 2 trades every week I still don't think it makes sense to chase short term price changes. The way the pricing system works players will have made bulk of their cash in 2-3 weeks unless they are a fundamentally good pick(I.E continue to score well).

I'll still continue to pick players I think will score well into the future, rather than last weeks try scorers

I think end of May is very ambitious for a restart time, but once the NRL has a firm return date we can power through the rounds if we need too

I could just run all 26 rounds in a row if I had too, the main delay will be giving you guys enough time between rounds to sort trades.

If NRL kicks off again in July (a more realistic date IMO) then we only need to speed it up slightly to finish in time

Keep like it is mate closest thing we got to fantasy normality and you are doing all the work, no way it comes back early anyway, any 1 player gets it if they restart before anything else and they are fucked

BTW for injury updates, this is how I'll work it

For other absences i will divide into 4 grades
    Grade 1 - 1-3 weeks out
    Grade 2 - 3-6 weeks out
    Grade 3 - 6-10 weeks out
    Grade 4 - 10+ weeks
Grade 5 - doesn't play again this season

Any time a player is missing from team lists i'll treat it as an injury (even if its a suspension or dropped for form) unless a quick google search gives me info otherwise

I'll let you know a rough return date using the grading above. For people who are away for 3, 6 or 10 weeks, I'll flip a coin to see which grading I give them. For season enders i'll explicitly say they don't play again

If a player doesn't get named in team lists and you want to know what happened, I'll advise his expected return date

If that's the case it's probably best to speed up somewhere in the middle when there isn't much jostling for positions
