Yeah, double thanks for those in/out lists, Milch. They're most appreciated.

Todd Carney is the perfect half for this format. Does enough defense and kicking to have a high floor. Has that running upside for offloads, line breaks and tries

I have 6 men out in R5... 3 of them Tigers, so not all Storm!

Add to that Tonguey to the bench and I need to play Andrew Price as a scoring player.

    screwed.

Just keep in mind they don't cater for bye players

eg Brent Sherwin has a length injury that wasn't picked up by this

He was good for a line break alright! Mind you so was Matt Bowen, and that's not working out so well. Massively boom-bust format this.

I'd love to see Terry Campese in this format. I reckon he would be the must have half. Dominated general play kicking, great defender, loved to run the ball and kicked goals to add to base

This Sherwin injury has scuppered my plan to buy Tongue so I've had to alter my potential trades.
Sherwin out - Todd Carney in
Purtell out - Tame Tupou in

Will only have 16 playing this round.

Edit - I've just realised my above buys are:
    2 try Tame Tupou &
    2 multiple personality Todd Carney

Still waiting on Rd 6 team list but so far looking ok as no injuries for Rd 5 and will just miss my 3 storm players.

Benji is going to go this round. 2 disappointing scores and plenty of cash he can still drop.

Thinking of death riding Menzies at this point. Solid 40+ base scores in the last 2 weeks so if he can start scoring tries like the rest of his career he should regain some of his cash be solid.

Any ideas why Tongue would be on the bench? Was looking to trade him in for Dalls Johnson potentially.

Raiders have been spanked to start the year. Seems like a panicked coach making changes for the sake of it

This is why I had my master stroke of starting without him. I remembered it happening earlier, but the preferred halves were always Anasta/Finch with Wing at 9

Hmm probably have to keep Laffranchi if he'll be back for next set of double rounds. Might have to keep Wiki even though he'll likely drop another 100k to field an actual half acceptable team

Tigers have R8 bye tho, so best case is he plays R7, worst case is back R9

crap how did I miss that?

Well better to have 16.5 players than 16 I suppose.

    Or is it?

Oh lol. Soward and Carney are my halves. So one's swapped out his starting spot for the other. Sad

Before making trade plans, I’m going to wait to see which 2-3 of my players are injured for R6 Rolling Eyes

Hmm...still might punt on him, surely he doesn't stay on the bench and still plays big minutes?

Shows my shit knowledge of 2006.  I thought Craig Wing was a winger.....I know I know.  I think I'm thinking of Matt Sing though. lol!

Anyway, Soward can piss off.  He should fund a Tame downgrade and easily able to upgrade Johnson.

Craig Wing played every position in the backs and a few in the forwards, very versatile player who played most of his career from the bench
