AEs can be any position, so you can still have 17 scorers even if your 2 starting halves don't play.

Awesome, thanks for the clarification. I had started to think about that in the last half hour but wondered if you needed four players not playing that week for this rule to be valid. But that's good to know. I'll go ahead as planned.

If you have 17 players take the field, you will get 17 scorers, regardless of position.

You still need to have at least 2 halves in your squad to name as starters, but it doesn't matter too much if they don't play.

Clearly I'm not achieving much with my trading though.
2006 feels like everything is upside down. I'm usually a crap starter, but a good trader - so far this seems the opposite.

    POD WATCH:

This week I thought I'd include a quick summary of the POD comings and goings...
    POD Changes:

Sonny Bill Williams skipped the whole POD thing with 3 owners straight of the bat.

On to the top 8, bottom 4 scores this week...

    R5 - THE TOP 8 AND THE BOTTOM 4:

Congrats to Filth and TeethEater on Todd Carney's impressive 75 point haul!

Thank god SBW had 3 owners. Would have been at the bottom of that POD list.

The 2006 POD Champion of Champions: Round 5

This week we have two new "Too-pop" players with >65% ownership:
    Alan Tongue (in 17 teams)
    Luke Douglas (in 16 teams)

Code Delta continues to lead the way with a very POD heavy line-up, while MrStephenB and Wolfking both had two unfortunate POD performances in a tough week all round.

    R5 SCOREBOARD:

Teeth Eater and MS made the biggest gains in the leaderboard this week.

    R5 OVERALL STANDINGS:

That may well be true. You (3rd) drew MoanaMan (2nd) in a top of the table POD Survivor Head to Head match...
    It was close....

Hmmm....5 out with the bye plus Johns and Mini. Come on down Bryan Norrie!!

Need to try and get some downgrades and start banking some money I think.

What's the go with Steve Turner? 14 teams have him. Seems to score trash if he's not scoring tries. Does he have a secure spot in the Storm team all year?

It seems most wingers score fairly trash if they don't score tries.
Turner is in a good team with a good spine and good centres (King and Inglis) - although Inglis looks like he is shifted to Fullback now with Slater out (forget how long).
Probably has more opportunity to dot down than a lot of Wingers, and I'm pretty sure he played in the NRL for maybe a decade?
