Manly Warringah 29 (B. Stewart 3, S. Bell, S. Menzies tries; T. Burns 4 goals; M. Monaghan field goal) defeated Penrith 22 (P. Aiton, L. Rooney, T. Waterhouse, R. Wesser tries; P. Campbell 3 goals)
Paul Aiton is prime rocks and diamonds scores
Brett Stewart gets a hattrick and still can't crack the 100. For a guy that scored so many tries he is rubbish at fantasy

Jarryd Hayne, superstar
I know he’s a winger but zero tackles is lol.
I knew this game, so was prepared to take a bath on Hayne and B Moz this round and hope they start scoring in R14.

Ah yeah my dad, an eels supporter, has spoken about the 2001 a bit. Dominate all year then fall asleep for 60 minutes in a final but still almost win. And to think Hindmarsh played through all these close years too.
Yep, if there was ever a player who deserved a premiership.
I know he's not popular, but even those years with Hayne (and Hindy in the same team)... defies belief they couldn't get at least one premiership.

Not sure how many of you remembered that Eels/Dragons game, I suspect a few might have picked it within a few minutes of kick off.
Shame the refs ruined the 2-1 scoreline by making a mess of that final scrum.
I remembered it was something weird, but not what it was, lol.

The early 2000s Parra was a great team but just lacked a world class individual in the halves to get over the line. Jason Taylor a good game organiser but not going to beat Andrew Johns on a big occasion. Still they had some dominant seasons before finals.
Yep, now that you mention it I remember that. Amazing squad, but always lacking in the halves. Who have they had this year so far? Tim Smith, Jeremy Smith and John Morris? Doesn't read well. And even a good number 9. Who was the last great Eels hooker? Am I missing someone perhaps?

637 All my trade in's scored half their season averages... Trade ins scored 86, trade outs scored 254. Shows that sometimes trading players out because of advanced knowledge about injuries can backfire.

Reminds me of Raiders the last few seasons.... this season they finally have the halves they need to win a championship.

Traded out Inglis and Carney and they get 80+
Also had Aiton's 80+ on the bench... at least he's still making me some coin.
Kept Tony Martin for his 31, included Hayne for his 9....
Positives: El Magic is back! Laffranchi with a good score and Collis continues to impress!

I kept Inglis, thankfully, but I traded out Aiton (what a mindfuck he was) and Carney I let go of last week.
Tony Martin was on my possible trade out list this week but I held on. Wish I'd dumped him and held onto Aiton.
Anyone else starting to think that even when Hayne starts scoring tries me may not score all that well in 2006?

Would of gained more sticking with Laffranchi trade but stick by myself not getting him in. Other trade ins all went well minus Parker going unders but expected after dominating last few weeks

Yeah, don't get me wrong. I'm loving watching his price plummet and plan to pick him up at rock bottom, but I am curious as to whether he'll score well in this format, even if he is scoring tries. There's been a few scores lately from try scorers that are little more than the (is it?) 17 points for the try. Just wondering if Hayne might be one of those guys.
