NRLFF 2006 Fantasy thread - Round 20+21+22 triple threat

Rovelli - 63 in my NPR. Ouch.

Jeez I wish Hodges' 19 had come in the first or second week so he had some time to drop some cash. Maybe.

After weeks of rubbish, good to see Johns back in the points.

Even with a try Buderus can't break out of the 40's. Wish I got rid of him when y'all did.

Haha R22 no Webster and have Morris AE for 2. Man Morris is trash. I don’t think he’s made any money but I have just to trade him out for my own sanity.

I think I did ok the other two rounds.

Also after getting rid of Luck he pumps out a couple of 60s. Cool cool cool.

Haha. Yeah, he scored something like 81 and 67 in those first two rounds, then 7 in the last one. Took the gloss of those first two rounds.

Overall what's that... he averaged about 50 something for the three rounds. I bought him after two scores of 50 more or less on the dot, so I guess it's pretty much what I signed up for. The 7 sure hurts, though.

5 scores under 10 and what 12 or something under 20? Just one of those games.

Way scores get calculated with BEs on multiple game weeks the last week effects most so his 19 is nice if you didn’t bring him in and waiting for last 4 rounds

Nice. That's me. He's the last piece of my puzzle. To be honest, he's coming in no matter what, but it'd be cool if I can still afford some kind of decent 18th/19th man too (not sure as I'm not that organised - just know I need Hodges to have a complete 13).

Although! I did notice that Mannering was pretty shit in that lot of scores. Two shit scores, innit? Can't remember, but I think so. He might be someone I need to replace too? Not sure. Will see what the wash-up is. And Gorrell too. I was relying on those two as part of my final picture, but they both seem to be crumbling to shit. Hopefully not anything permanent.

With Mannering he’s playing pure CTR and actually has decent base considering that but needs tries to be worth it

He got a 46 in there. Didn't play him that round so that sticks out.

That doesn't surprise me. I read through the scores with a mixture of haste, excitement, joy, anger and most of all... confusion. So I'm not surprised my memory has failed me.

2 scores over 800 then a 600 with 2 mil on the bench and my wingers all scoring sub 10.

I've owned O'Dwyer since about round 11 and he has been a revelation. I don't remember him being this good but I'll keep playing him, probably for the rest of the year

I've moved him to rot in NPR. If the time comes where I need a single digit score he can come in

He’s my 19/20 player, so I needed him in 20 and 22. He scored in R21 when I didn’t play him... for 26. Yikes.

Only thing I think I've done right in this thing is not own Morris. Had him in my trades a couple of times but before hitting the send button I opted for someone a bit more expensive with a lower BE and not a WFB. In my team at the moment I have Hayne as my only actual playing in position WFB. Wretched position.

A score in the 700s followed by breaking the four-figures followed by another score in the 700s.

I've had him since Round 16 - the R14 score of 51 caught my interest.
Future edge forwards playing in the Centres have been gold this season.

I've not had the guts to play him though (except one round with 2 out and liked him more than Martin or Turner).
Gutted to miss the 81 and 69 in the first 2 games this round, although don't mind missing the 7 - still that's a 52 point average across the 3 games.

Not really as Burt has a history of being a good fantasy scorer and was kicking goals at the start of the season. All he needed was for the tries to start coming !

I find it amusing that about a month ago when I questioned 4 or 5 of you "all of a sudden" bringing in a Tigers winger with no NRL experience and no known job security from out of left field. I was told you were all cashing out for a cheapy AND he is available at FRF so 'nothing to see here, move along'.
Not that being cheap and available in the front row would help much if he was never seen again !
But I let it go and didn't continue with it.

When I get a former and future fantasy gun ( in that position of WFB ) after ignoring a few dud scores at the start of the year people start casting aspersions !!

Also, I played him in round 20 to get Tongue's score !
