Number of people going for 1 week wonder Tex Hoy is surprising.

Assume they are just casuals seeing his name on the team sheet and getting excited

I expect he gets 50ish minutes, with Crichton coming on.

There is a very outside chance he impresses enough to steal the 6 jersey from Mann. Mann is very boring to watch as a 5/8, Hoy brings a bit of extra spark

Titans lose a couple games, maybe Roberts goes back to 6/7 or they try bring Boyd in for a run at half. If they lose a couple Holbrook can get pretty experimental.
Or Sami has a blinder at fullback.

The average minutes for 2RF players selected in the second row across all teams was 73.7mins (Edge forwards play big minutes).
However, the lowest average for any club was Penrith: averaging just 61.9mins.
In fact only Penrith and Souths (67.6) averaged under 70mins.

Kikau wasn't the culprit either - played the full match in approx half his games (72min average).
Unsurprisingly Winterstein was the worst minutes for PTH, but even without him they still average under 70 minutes.

Don't go bringing stats into this. What do you think this is? Haha

In the 12 step dealing with fantasy handook that I got from my shrink there is a chapter about acceptance. Number 1 rule at the start of the chapter is; always be prepared for a fit player you just traded out to score 70.'

I'm not buying Fogarty because I'm getting Twal, Yeo, Turbo/Isaako & Grant. Might get him next week if he goes ok but he plays for the Titans which puts me off.

Very little downside to waiting if you don't need him as a scorer. If he scores a 40 odd he only makes about 30k. If he scores 25 you won't want to own him

Lads, with My first 2 trades locked in (Stimson and Fifita > Lolo and Fogarty), would you guys prefer Tommy Turbo and Twal or DCE and Horse?

I think Mann is #6 for the season, at least.

Coach knows him for Toyota Cup at Storm, then as assistant coach from Mann's first year in top grade. He's trained there all off-season. Many good judges* have said he's a half. I think he will be played like a Storm 5/8 (pre-Munster): runs hard and straight, makes tackles, lets the rest of the superstar spine do the fancy stuff and get the plaudits.

It wouldn't surprise me if he's good for 8-10 tries this year with a solid tackling base.

*definitely Gould and robelgordo, may be others
