Dam really wish I had a trade left to be able to still trade in Mago. Would have definitely brought Mago in over Fogarty.

Magoulis in is intriguing, have a trade left and its burning a hole in my index finger. Only options are Walters or Williams out which both seem a little bit counter productive at this point. Can’t wait to see how it plays out. First year I haven’t started with Teddy in a while & also already traded our Friend and Su’a. Rule change looks great but these big scores are going to really sort us out! Looking at Lomax and Drinkwater sitting in my back three and thinking how the fuck am I going to jump to Teddy/Ponga from here? Good times, great fun.

I've decided to go purely cows and guns from here and maximise cash generation even at a points deficit (i.e. Hopoate). No time for the intermediate middies or risks until I've got two more guns and DFifi back.

Teddy is just ridiculous, he’s just too good!

94 it looks like after updates.

I’m gonna have to find a way to get him in but he’s just made that harder!

One of the cutouts was of Dominic Cummings. Should get some UK press for that.

This is completely open for someone paying $22 and getting a cutout of some foreign serial killer

    Wait, what? For realsies?

Could have got even more if Keary passed it to him when he was completely open

Teddy has a thing against high BEs and R3 it seems. 2019 BE of 74, scores 86 and in 2020 BE of 74, scores 94

Having so little midrangers to sell in my team is likely forcing me to decide between Teddy & Cleary. Actually forgot about Ponga with his suspension, could be cheaper alternative by about 50k. Probably slightly higher floor than Teddy with GK

Am I correct in saying that with such a high scoring round, the magic number is low and the BEs become higher?

This is correct, (taken to the extreme - if everyone scores over 50 you won't have everyone gaining cash)

Just be careful to distinguish between rounds which are overall higher scoring, and average rounds where a few popular fantasy players are high scoring.

So far this is the former. Average fantasy points for a game is normally a tad over 1200

So far this round is averaging 1,280 points per game. If it maintains that over the course of the round, that would rank it as the 2nd highest scoring round last year (R17 2019 averaged 1288 points per game)

If there is one thing NRL: is good at, it changing rules mid-season, and then changing them back once people start complaining.

Trades this week will be chaos though. Everyone will want Teddy, and Cook, and whoever else bangs out a big score this week, but won't be any way to get them all in.
